Cleanse
Cleanse is an white sorcery that costs two colorless and two white mana.
Destroy all black creatures.
Cleanse is more of a sideboard rather than a proper Wrath of God. It can wreak havoc on black decks but useless everywhere else.
Winds of Rath
Winds of Rath is an white sorcery that costs three colorless and two white mana.
Destroy all creatures that aren’t enchanted. They can’t be regenerated.
This card is an expensive Wrath of God but gives you the option of saving your own creatures by enchanting them.
Kirtar's Wrath
Kirtar's Wrath is an white sorcery that costs four colorless and two white mana.
Destroy all creatures. They can’t be regenerated.
Threshold — If seven or more cards are in your graveyard, instead destroy all creatures, then create two one power and one toughness white Spirit creature tokens with flying. Creatures destroyed this way can’t be regenerated.
This card is an expensive Wrath of God but gives you an additional benefit of two free one power and one toughness white Spirit creature tokens when you hit Threshold.
Sunscour
Sunscour is an white sorcery that costs five colorless and two white mana.
You may exile two white cards from your hand rather than pay this spell’s mana cost.
Destroy all creatures.
This card is an expensive Wrath of God but gives you an option of exiling two white cards in lieu of paying its casting cost.
Fumigate
Fumigate is an white sorcery that costs three colorless and two white mana.
Destroy all creatures. You gain 1 life for each creature destroyed this way
This card is an expensive Wrath of God but gains you one life for each creature destroyed so this makes up for the one mana difference.
March of Souls
March of Souls is an white sorcery that costs four colorless and one white mana.
Destroy all creatures. They can’t be regenerated. For each creature destroyed this way, its controller creates a one power and one toughness white Spirit creature token with flying.
March of Souls can be combined with Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite to give you an army of three power and three toughness white Spirit creature token with flying while at the same time eliminating your opponents creature tokens.
Rout
Rout is an white sorcery that costs three colorless and two white mana.
You may cast Rout as though it had flash if you pay two colorless mana more to cast it. (You may cast it any time you could cast an instant.)
Destroy all creatures. They can’t be regenerated.
This card is an expensive Wrath of God but gives you the option of playing it at instant speed for the cost of two additional colorless mana.
Harsh Mercy
Harsh Mercy is an white sorcery that costs two colorless and one white mana.
Each player chooses a creature type. Destroy all creatures that aren’t of a type chosen this way. They can’t be regenerated.Each player chooses a creature type. Destroy all creatures that aren’t of a type chosen this way. They can’t be regenerated.
If you play tribal and your opponent does not, you have an edge. If you both play tribal, this card is useless.
Planar Outburst
Planar Outburst is an white sorcery that costs three colorless and two white mana.
Destroy all nonland creatures.
Awaken 4 — Pay five colorless and three white mana (If you cast this spell for five colorless and three white mana, also put four plus one power and plus one toughness counters on target land you control and it becomes a zero power and zero toughness Elemental creature with haste. It’s still a land.)
If you do not have much mana, Planar Outburst is an expensive Day of Judgment. If you have more mana, you get Day of Judgment and a four power and four toughness elemental creature.
Retribution of the Meek
Retribution of the Meek is an white sorcery that costs two colorless and one white mana.
Destroy all creatures with power 4 or greater. They can’t be regenerated.
This is a limited board wipe that can only kill larger creatures. You can make this one sided by only having creatures that have three or less power .
Fell the Mighty
Citywide Bust is an white sorcery that costs one colorless and two white mana.
Destroy all creatures with toughness 4 or greater.
This is a limited board wipe that can only kill larger creatures. You can make this one sided by only having creatures that have three or less toughness .
End Hostilities
End Hostilities is an white sorcery that costs three colorless and two white mana.
Destroy all creatures and all permanents attached to creatures.
This is a Day of Judgment on steroids as it not only destroys creatures but also equipment attached to those creatures.
Cleansing Nova
Cleansing Nova is an white sorcery that costs three colorless and two white mana.
Choose one —
• Destroy all creatures.
• Destroy all artifacts and enchantments.
This is a versatile card as it lets you pick between destroying all creatures or all artifacts and enchantments.
This lessens the chances of Cleansing Nova becoming a dead card.
Hallowed Burial
Hallowed Burial is an white sorcery that costs three colorless and two white mana.
Put all creatures on the bottom of their owners’ libraries.
While at first, it seems in shuffling creatures back to their library is not much different than sending them to the graveyard,, you will quickly find out that there is a difference especially when going against dredge or recursion decks.
Final Judgment
Final Judgment is an white sorcery that costs four colorless and two white mana.
Exile all creatures.
This is a great weapon against creatures that keep coming back. The same goes true for decks that have the ability to return creatures back in play.
Terminus
Terminus is an white sorcery that costs four colorless and two white mana.
Put all creatures on the bottom of their owners’ libraries.
Miracle - one white mana (You may cast this card for its miracle cost when you draw it if it’s the first card you drew this turn.)
While at first, this seems to be just an expensive Hallowed Burial. However, you later appreciate it when it comes in time and you cast it for its miracle cost of a mere one white mana.
This can be achieved through tutoring or through library fixing.
Settle the Wreckage
Settle the Wreckage is an white instant that costs two colorless and two white mana.
Exile all attacking creatures target player controls. That player may search their library for that many basic land cards, put those cards onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle their library.
Settle the Wreckage is more like a mass Path to Exile than your run of the mill Wrath of God. The beauty in this spell is that it is an instant and can catch your opponent off guard.
Plague Wind
Plague Wind is an black sorcery that costs seven colorless and two black mana.
Destroy all creatures you don’t control. They can’t be regenerated.
While the idea behind a one-sided Wrath of God is good, the cost of nine mana is absurd.
Prophecy is notorious for spells with insane casting costs and this is an example of why it is notorious.
Decree of Pain
Decree of Pain is an black sorcery that costs six colorless and two black mana.
Destroy all creatures. They can’t be regenerated. Draw a card for each creature destroyed this way.
Cycling: Pay three colorless and two black mana, Discard this card: Draw a card.
When you cycle Decree of Pain, all creatures get -2/-2 until end of turn.
Scourge is another notorious set for expensive spells.
By the time you are able to cast this spell in response to your opponent's onslaught it is too late.
Shatter the Sky
Shatter the Sky is an white sorcery that costs two colorless and two white mana.
Each player who controls a creature with power four or greater draws a card. Then destroy all creatures.
Shatter the Sky can be a two edged sword. It can be a benefit if you control the big creature and you get the card draw. It can be a detriment if your opponent controls the big creature and he gets to draw the card.
Day of Judgment
Day of Judgment is an white sorcery that costs two colorless and two white mana.
Destroy all creatures.
Day of Judgment is a close clone of Wrath of God except it does not have the ability to remove regeneration.
Supreme Verdict
Supreme Verdict is an white and blue sorcery that costs one colorless, two white and one blue mana.
This spell can’t be countered.
Destroy all creatures.
This card is powerful in Modern and Pioneer as the format is full of control decks.
Damnation
Damnation is an black sorcery that costs two colorless and two black mana.
Destroy all creatures. They can’t be regenerated.
Damnation looks like a parallel universe version of Wrath of God.
It is perhaps the best mass destruction spell black has.

Wrath of God is an white sorcery that costs two colorless and two white mana.
Destroy all creatures. They can’t be regenerated.
Wrath of God is perhaps white's most iconic spell. It has been a staple since the earliest days of Magic and still is powerful even today.
It is the yardstick upon which other mass destruction spells are measured.
