Updated on March 4, 2015

You just found a great Minecraft mountain seed list for 1.5.2 and 1.6.4

A quick explanation of this page.

Thanks for viewing my Minecraft Mountain seed page. I have made a compilation of 5 great Minecraft seeds you should check out.

So this page generally works like this: There's a decription of the seed with the seed number, followed by the video, followed by the next pair of description and video, and so on.

Thanks for checking out the page, I hope you like it, and feel free to comment with your suggestions, critiques, thoughts, etc. at the bottom of the page.

This mountain seed is one of the coolest I've found so far. There are some really cool formations that you'll see in the video. It's hard to explain mountain seeds without just seeing them, so just watch the video before.

There are some crazy mountains held up by support pillars, so to speak.

You start off in a forest and have to work your way to the mountains, but they're pretty close by

Once you find them you'll see plenty of mountains, floating cliffs, random fragmented floating blocks, and much much more. This particular mountain seed is really peculiar looking, just see for yourself.

It even has an open lava flow for you pyromaniacs.

On this mountain seed you spawn right on the edge of some really oceanic mountains. They shoot up from the water, tower around, and make all sorts of cool shapes.

There are plenty of hollowed out spaces, caverns, and things like that, which would all be perfect for building interesting mountainside homes.

On this mountain seed you start off on the edge of a forest biome and a mountain biome. If you fly around this group of mountains you'll find all sorts of crazy shapes, cliffs, lava, caverns, and even a crater or two. This was a well grounded and pleasant mountain seed to start an adventure.

As far as animals there are pigs and sheep straddled throughout the mountains. I would describe this mountain range as somewhat cliffy and with sharper rises.

This is a really interesting mountain seed. In this one you spawn in a taiga, but if you wait for the map to load you'll be in range of a mountain biome.

This mountain biome is a moderate sized peninsula with a super cool cliff overhang that's basically a mountain sandwich with air blocks in between. This one's pretty cool, check it out.

If you have trouble finding the mountains go to x-131 z240.

In Summary

Mountain biomes are interesting because they have such cool natural shapes and formations. I prefer my list of 10 Minecraft village seeds personally. Regardless, I know a lot of you out there really like mountain biomes, which is why I spent a couple hours building this list, just for people like you.
