Most Viewed YouTube Video – Best YouTube Videos – and Cuteness in Children

Updated on December 11, 2011

Best YouTube Videos

The Most Viewed YouTube Videos are Charlie Bit My Finger - Again! and Hahaha YouTube video. These two videos show young children trying to say something. What would have made the two videos each showing a child become the most viewed YouTube videos – best YouTube videos? It’s all about cuteness, ingenuity, timing and presentation. Every baby, toddler, preschooler, school aged, pre-teen and teen is cute and can do it but only if there is ingenuity. Many kids are doing it everyday but they still need a guardian to identify the ingenuity in the act and have the right tools to display it to the public. If you watch these two videos, you may agree that what is being shown there is a daily occurrence of every kid at that age. These simple videos required only simple tools like a simple mobile phone with a camera and a free video display at YouTube.

What is YouTube?

What is YouTube? YouTube is a website which is a subsidiary of Google. It is meant to allow users to upload, share, and view videos.  It is free and anybody can generate video content and post there. The two video shown here is the work of amateurs rather than trained professional. But these two videos are at the top of the world where professionals are struggling days and nights to at least reach there if only once in their lifetime.  The content that is uploaded in YouTube includes amateur content videos, movie clips, music video, and TV clips and anyone can upload videos there if you want to share the videos with friends.

Cuteness in Children

What is cuteness? Cuteness is that attractiveness which is associated with youth and appearance. Cuteness is usually characterized by a combination of the following infant-like physical traits such as body size, head, eyes, nose, dimples, and other body features on one hand, and personality traits such as playfulness, fragility, helplessness, curiosity, innocence, affectionate behavior, and a need to be nurtured on the other hand. These are the features the youngsters in the two videos have exploited to the maximum, knowingly or unknowingly, to have the most viewed YouTube videos and to have the best YouTube videos.

Secret and Powerful Tool

Cuteness can be manipulated by children to get what they want from an adult. For example, in early infancy, crying in babies is an instinct. But babies also have brains and as they grow, they will use crying as a tool to consciously manipulate those around them. With time babies will learn that if they cry loud and long enough, they no doubt will draw attention of their parents or those people around them. Small as the baby may seem, the baby knows that crying is a secret and powerful tool to be used to get what he/she want. It is important to note that crying is not enjoyable to the baby and neither is crying enjoyable to the parents or those around the baby.

A Baby Smile

A baby’s smile is cuteness. A smile is one of the baby’s first positive sources of power and leverage. Parents love a baby’s smile, the baby loves it, and so does everyone else including the world’s best military general. Cuteness is charming. Cute will win a smile, a child’s smile will win a quick hug and a child’s smile will win your approval. Cuteness is just another indirect way of manipulating your feelings and actions.

God, or nature, has genetically given these instincts to babies, toddlers, pre-teens and teens so that the adult humans can care for the young children.
