Play Laser Tag at Home!

Updated on September 7, 2015

Now you can play laser tag in the comfort of your own home. The Lazer Tag Team Ops Deluxe 2-player system by Hasbro contains everything you need for you and your partner to shoot each other crazy. But, it’s all done with the safety of lasers, and you can shoot at your friend as much as you want. The winner is the one who tallies up with the highest score by the end of the game.

To play laser tag, you and your opponent hide out in locations around your yard. The aim is to find them, and zap them with your lazer gun. The sensor on their unit will register a hit, if you have aimed accurately. Of course they can do the same to you. During a predetermined time frame, the winner of the game will then be determined by the player who has scored the most points. Players must actively participate in the game, in order to build up points. They can’t simply hide out behind a tree, to avoid being tagged.

This laser tag game takes fun to a new high-tech level. You’re not simply pretending to zap each other, you’re really doing it! The game will work better in the evening, but you can still play during the day as well.

The laser tag guns look really cool, with some neat features. They can easily be gripped by one hand, or by two hands. The trigger pulls smoothly. You’ll soon learn the best way to hold your lazer tag gun for optimum effective shooting. There is an LCD display screen on each, which provides live action details. You’ll get to see seven different game stats. It automatically communicates with your teammate’s laser gun too.

The heads up display unit (HUD) can be worn like a pair of sunglasses. It protects your eyes from the bright effects of the laser light. You’ll also get real time feedback such as “target locked on”, and “target is hit” which adds to the fun.

Lazer Tag Team Ops Deluxe has eleven preprogrammed games. You also have the ability to custom design your own game.

You’ll get to play beyond the limits of the arena, right in your backyard, your basement, or even in the house! In this kit you’ll get two laser tag guns, and two goggle head sets. One set is beige, red, and burgundy, and the second set is beige, green, and forest green. If you want more players, you’ll need to order a second kit.

The two laser taggers run on six double (AA) batteries each, which you’ll need to include, as they don’t come with the order. Once the batteries are in, you can start playing. You can purchase an optional Laser Tag 2-Player Team Talk System. This game is suitable for players aged eight years and up.

You and your friend will have hours of fun playing laser tag, without having to worry about paying expensive entrance fees to a laser tag facility. The kit will soon pay for itself, while you have fun winning the game.
