Radio Flyer Ultimate Comfort Wagon Review

Updated on July 6, 2016

The Radio Flyer Ultimate Comfort Wagon – A Fun, Useful And Versatile Ride

I have big grandchildren and I know they're not going to be happy sitting in their twin stroller for much longer and that's why we bought the Radio Flyer Ultimate Comfort Wagon.

Everybody had a Radio Flyer Wagon when I was growing up.

When the kids lost interest in it, I know many parents kept them in the garage for hauling stuff around the yard and to and from the car. I even see people pulling them around flea markets so they can stack their purchases in them.

But they were just plain wagons, unlike the Radio Flyer Ultimate Comfort Wagon which is so much more and has been designed to carry kids around safely and in comfort.

Pick yours up from Amazon now, or keep reading to learn more about this wagon.

Here Are The Wonderful Details

I love this Radio Flyer Wagon because it’s easy to pull along and the kids love it because it’s comfortable and I know they feel special in it. The seats are well-padded to keep their little tushes comfy and each seat offers 5 different configurations so you can set the wagon up easily to accommodate one or two children.

The Ultimate Comfort Wagon has big chunky wheels so it negotiates bumps and ruts quite easily without jolting the children too badly. Even with two kids in tow, there’s plenty of room for their toys, blankets and some shopping.

The large canopy offers UV protection and each seat has a three-way harness so the kids aren’t jumping in and out of the wagon all the time. They haven’t figured out how to undo them yet!

The way the seats are designed on the Radio Flyer Ultimate Comfort Wagon is probably the best feature. The padded seats are removable so they can be cleaned and the seats can be laid flat in the bottom of the Flyer with the covers on, so if you have a small child who wants to go to sleep, it’s perfect. One set can be configured to turn into a little desk if you only have one rider or you can turn one seat into a covered storage area.

Speaking of storage, this wagon comes with a large nylon storage bag, big enough to hold lots of stuff, and it folds up neatly when not in use. If the weather is cloudy, you can also remove the canopy entirely.

At the business end of this Radio Flyer Wagon are two cup holders for mom and dad and two more inside for the kids.

As with all this company’s products, the Radio Flyer Comfort Wagon is built to last with both parents’ and kids’ needs in mind. This durable and useful wagon will happily haul up to 200 lbs with no problems, so it’s ideal for taking children, a cooler, blankets and chairs to the park for a great day out, without all the schlepping back to the car to fetch things.

Our Radio Flyer Ultimate Comfort Wagon is definitely the best replacement for their old stroller.

I had one of the "classic" Radio Flyer wagons when I was small, and I certainly wish I'd had access to one of these newly styled models when MY kids were small. I think it could be useful to me now as a means of moving gardening supplies around my yard!
