StoryLine 7/10

Well The Story line in short;

Max had a shitty life, He's moping unemployed at a bar, When a Hispanic guy walks into a bar and saves his life. He Offers him a Job as a Fellow Bodyguard with a high end client he knows.

As he becomes employed , the whole story begins to escalate more and more with Kidnappings,Murders, and Shit Going Sour.

Game Play 7/10

The Game is pretty well moderate, it may stimulate your mind here and there because of the smooth combination of Good Direction and Decent Action Moments.

You will die a couple times if you turn off the Aim Assist

Though the game contains a fair challenge, the most appealing part would be the Comic style Sin City esque presentation throughout the game, ALL throughout the Game, but it can be rather annoying due to its frequency

Sound 8/10

The Music and Backround, along with the Voice Acting are good.

Whoever wrote the script, really wanted to keep this dialogue realistic.

The Music in the Backround runs smoothly with the Action,Killing,Surprise, and Ambushes

Its definitely worth noting

Controls 6/10

The Maneuvering can be solid and fluid sometimes, but the only thing that really gets ya, is the sloppy transitions from getting to cover-fire to aim and shooting

And there will be cases where you wont be able to crouch cover fire unless the certain object allows it.... AUTOMATICALLY. The enemy's can do it, why can't you have the choice too?

I guess the Balance to this is that when you get killed, you get a "Last Stand" Slow Motion moment where if you shoot who ever finished you, You'll Recover your life(using a Painkiller) and fight on.

Graphics 8/10

The Picture is Crisp and Tact

The Comic mixed with vague blurs to show the Headaches from loud sounds that Max Receives during his constant hangover throughout the Scenes

Multi-player 7/10

Your Probably Wondering, "Are they still gonna enable the Slow motion Thingy?"

Yes,....along with online players on your team. but only if your gain the Adrenaline meter up with your teammates.

Pretty much the multiplayer is hide and go shoot. it can be slick and there is some customization for your character.

There's also a sweet level up system to keep it fresh, but its pretty much "the longest playing player gets the better guns" how sad.

OVERALL 8/10 (Rent It First)

The Game is Quick, its 2 Disc Long

But 2 hrs in, and I'm already at the 2nd disc.

Its definitively not for everyone, but If your a Max Payne Fan, then its pretty damn good.

Even if your new to the series, you really don't need to know jack about the other games to fully enjoy this game.

Its stimulating, right now its pretty cheap. I say it's worth the action pack little thrill for 19.00 bucks.

3 stars for OVER-ALL RATING
