Review of League Of Legends
League of Legends in unlike any of the other games in the MOBA category. Sure it has the same basic outline such as 3 lanes and have to destroy the enemy's base before they destroy your own, however it has very vast differences from games like HoN or DoTA. Let's start with the con. No voice chat, it's very difficult to coordinate a team while typing. Pros, Lol has a fairly simple learnign curve especially compared to DoTA 2. They also reward your progression such as leveling up your account ( max level is 30) and earning new abilites, rune slots, and masteries which you can manage and change between games. League of Legends does not give you all the champions at once, instead the give you a weekly rotation of 10 champions for free, this way you can try before you buy and helps new players pace themselves, however you can buy any champion at anytime without spending even a dime. Also you do not lose money when you die, this will help you buy more items and even make a comeback in a losing match Let's move on to the maps. First off the main attraction of LoL, Summoner's Rift ( a 5v5 map), a very vibrant map filled with places to hid and outplay your enemies. LoL is a game filled with choices, are you going to get this tower down or are you going to chase a kill, are you going to retreat or innitiate a fight. having so many choices allows for no 2 matches to ever feel the same. However Summoners Rift is not all there is to see, there are other modes to choose from such as All Random All Mid (ARAM) and Dominion, these matches are much faster paced and last less time then Summoner's Rift does.
There is always something new to learn and enjoy, no two matches ever feel the same, and who would get tired of that colorful art style? it may take a while to be good enough to wipe the floor with your enemies, so grab some friends and just enjoy yourself.
