Squidward Tentacles--squidward Toys and Merchandise

Updated on August 13, 2016

Squidward Tentacles

Have you ever watched the Spongebob Squarepants show? If you have then you must be familiar with one of its most popular characters Squidward Tentacles.

I think the Squidward character on the Spongebob Squarepants show is so popular (especially among adults) because we all seem to know someone who has Squidward's signature character traits. Squidward is grumpy, self-centered and is very easily annoyed. He seems to be a snob and is just a gloomy miserable character who is in just about every memorable Spongebob Squarepants episode.

This hub is exactly what Squidward Tenticles would want: It is all about him!!

Squidward Memorabilia

I really enjoy collecting memorabilia from pop culture especially cartoon characters. To the right is an example of a stuffed Squidward plush toy that is on sale at Amazon. If you go to amazon through the link to the right you can also find other unique and funny Squidward merchandise that is on sale at Amazon. After you click the Amazon link to the right, type Squidward in the search bar at the top of the page and numerous items will appear. Squidward is featured in many different types of items including plush toys, legos, action figures, hats, posters, aquarium ornaments and pillows.

My Favorite Squidward Episode

Squidward Tentacles is in most Spongebob Squarepants episodes. It is hard to pick which episode I like best that he is in.

If I would have to pick my favorite Spongebob episode with Squidward, I would have to pick the short titled "Band Geeks"

How could you not like this episode? This is one of the few episodes that something actually goes right for Squidward.

In this episode we see Squidward's arch rival from high school Squillium Fancyson come to town. Squillium is a lot diffrent from Squidward. He is very successful in everything he does. Squillium asks Squidward if his band would like to replace his band at the Bikini Bottom's version of the Super Bopwl halftime show. Although Squidward does not really have a band he says yes because he wants to show up Squillium.

Squidward collects a bunch of people to play in his band including Spongebob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs and Patrick. They get together and practice and sound like a disaster. On the day of the concert, Squidward is prepared to be embarrassed. However the band surprises him and sounds awesome. This is the one moment of the Spongebob Squarepants show in which Squidward basks in success and glory.
