Scrabble Solver

Updated on October 5, 2009

I began to play scrabble, It Is a great way to stay in touch with family members or friends through online sites but I admit I needed some help so I searched for a scrabble solver but that did not seem fair plus it was a lot of trouble switching between two windows.

It seemed much easier to just learn the scrabble tips and tricks of the trade. After learning from the scrabble dictionary I began to play better, I learned to memorize the most commonly used scrabble words sometimes called bingo words and which are the most used letters, when to use them and when to hold them. I began to increase my vocabulary and I learned the most common first letter and last letter to the bingo words.

I began to win a few games, I will admit they were easy games but I am getting better every day. To the beginning scrabble player winning seems to be hit and miss. Scrabble is not really a random win by luck game. The real way to win is to use the techniques that the pros use to get higher scores and to keep your opponent from leading the way.

Know the game board and the location of the bonus squares. When it is your turn be mindful of multiple word combinations also be aware of words that your opponent may try to form on his next move. Try to avoid opening up a good bonus square on your move.

As the old saying goes practice makes perfect so find an online scrabble game and join in. Learn the rules of the game and play fair. Playing online will give you the advantage over other opponents as experience is the best teacher.

It's a good point - you can use sites like to cheat, but you're better off using them to analyse your racks post-game to see what you could have played in order to be better at the game next time.
