Finding the College of Winterhold

The College of Winterhold is easy to find. If you want to join the College of Winterhold go to the city of Winterhold and look for a giant stone bridge that goes to a stone castle. That is the College of Winterhold you just need to cross the bridge to join.

Joining the College of Winterhold

When you try to cross the bridge and join the College of Winterhold there is a woman blocking your path, she will demand that in order to enter you must demonstrate your magical abilities. She tells you to cast the fear spell on the rune on the bridge in front of you. This is the start of the College of Winterhold quest line in Skyrim.

Casting the spell is an easy task as anyone can cast is right from the start of the game, just open your spell menu and select the spell. Cast the fear spell on the markings and watch them start to glow. The woman will tell you to follow her and she will lead you into the College of Winterhold. Follow her in order to join the College of Winterhold in Skyrim.

After that you will be given a tour of the College of Winterhold by another mage before being informed that there is a lecture for you to attend in the Hall of Elements.

Attend the lecture and you will be granted admittance into the College of Winterhold. Congratulations you just joined the College of Winterhold in Skyrim

What to Expect Next

The College of Winterhold has 9 main quests including your admittance quest. There are also 16 side quests in the College of Winterhold. Happy questing adventurer I'm sure joining the college of winterhold will pay off with loot and levels!
