Pokemon GO: Legendary Pokemon at San Diego Comic Con 2016

Updated on July 24, 2016

We all knew Pokemon Go would have a huge part in this year's comic con. Following the game's huge success and massive audience, they were upgraded from a small 480 capacity room to a Hall H. Seeing as this was their first comic con and also due to the game's constant crashing, most fans we're expecting Niantic to give out something big during this year's comic con, and by big, I mean an actual legendary Pokemon.

Spoiler Alert. They did not.

Now to explain how this rumour began, most fan's simply expected some sort of give away. Others, like myself, found out from a well known YouTuber, Philip Defranco via twitter.

For all of you who don't know. Philip DeFranco is a YouTuber who mostly talks about news. He's a well known YouTube Star with over 4 million subscribers and founders of companies like Makers Studio as well as other YouTube channels such Sourcefed.

Now, whether or not he was trying to troll people. I first would like to say, I've been watching Philip for years and he is a generally nice, honest and good I would never believe he tried to troll so many people with something so obviously serious such as this. And I was right. Turns out the whole thing was just a misunderstanding. Phil was either mislead...or drunk.

You can also see in this tweet he made, right after he told everyone about the legendary pokemon, that he just wanted to help his fans out..after careful consideration.

Anyway, I think at the end of the day, we all learn't an important lesson. Life sucks.

Comment below what you thought of the story, this is my first Hub here, I hope to be able to do more news stuff but also post some other things like opinions as well as my own art and writing.

Let me know in the poll whether or not you believed there would be a legendary at comic con. Thanks for reading.

Did you completely believe there would be a legendary at comic con?
