Supremacy 1914 Campaign Journal - Day 86

Updated on March 26, 2014

After a little illness and computer trouble, I am back!

We have lost a few days in the campaign but, fear not! I will update you.

Things have gone along as I have suspect generally with a few surprises and a few changes of course. So, sit down right there, and I'll tell you about how I became the top, play-air?

Sorry..

Land Grabbin' - Supremacy 1914

Well, it would seem that Lithuania is all but beaten - it is wise to show caution as when a beast is beaten, it has nothing left to lose, and then, random acts of strangeness can give them the enemy the upper hand.

The only worry now is the time consuming slog of taking land and keeping land. Taking land is easy enough but the worry is to lose it and have to take it back again. I am trying my best to take grain and fish - there is no fish inland, so scratch that last one - so my Empire does not starve. When gaining land, people in that land are not too happy at first so they do not produce resources much, slowly but surely, they cheer up and go back to work..

Rumblings around the world

It seems like a war between the US and Poland is on the cards..

I do find it very funny that I could have well have been beaten if Poland, Lithuania and the US teamed up together and fought me. However, they bicker and fight each other. There is a life lesson there.. no doubt it will never be learnt!

Poised and ready to hit Poland if they think they can try anything against me - they won't though. If they do it will be due to a tantrum or a short-thought-plan and it will be short lived as I will, "send them to oblivion"

Poland seem set on sending all troops to secure the south of the UK. There is no merit to it and it is pure arrogance that will see their Empire in ruins. Oh well....

As you can see... the US is doing the same as Poland. I feel sort of sad that I am not matched well and this could be so easy to win. I might be surprised - I doubt it!

As it stands, I could invade both the US and Poland and capture most of their core lands within a day or so. I think I will do that. Just need to wait for them to start fighting each other, move some troops - with battleships to keep troop morale up and for destroying Fortresses - and bobs your uncle

Below you can see that I am not too far off winning the game and I am being helped all the way.

I can also point out that I am receiving messages from the US - numerous times - asking for oil etc. He sits on a mountain of fish - millions stored and growing - and he wont even trade for anything less than one for one.. Yup, Bud, that's why you're dead!
