Tips for Piazza on survival mode in spec ops, on Call Of Duty Modern warfare 3 learn how to get far! ( MW3 )

Updated on May 10, 2012

Intro

This guide/hub will teach you the tips and strategies that you can and should use to get to high levels on the map Piazza for survival mode on Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

PLEASE NOTE ::: Below is a guide for general strategies for all survival maps that i suggest you read prior to the rest of this hub. I will reference and not going into great detail on the things you should use. But if you read the guide i give full reasons of why you should use each item.

THE MAP

Okay, so to start let me go over the map, so you understand the X's.

Red X's - These are going to be player placements. You will stand here, and defend.

Orange X's - this will be turret placement.

I don't have the blue lines like my other hubs which show you enemy routes simply because they will come at you mainly through the doorways. If you set this up right you should be able to corner yourself in, and survive for a while.

The strategy

So here is the strategy. Now you should essentially be blocking yourself in, and defending your turrets. Both players should each be taking turns watching entrance points, and taking out enemies to protect the turrets. Sounds pretty simple, and it is. It should not be very difficult for you to get yourself going on this map and for you to reach fairly high levels.

On helicopter rounds, try to take them out quickly and fast, even though you are in cover in case you need to escape.

Juggernaut rounds, you should attempt to take out the juggernauts as fast as you can like helicopters. be careful of flashes and stuns as you can hurt your riot/delta teams, as well as the juggernaut. You should also be careful of explosives as you can potentially take out a turret. But either way your focus should be on eliminating the juggernauts as quick as possible, and usually a well placed predator missile does the job perfectly.

Okay so your main goal should be to camp, and stay in the area that i have showed you. ALTHOUGH. when getting bogged down, or at high levels you can use the run and gun strategy, which I am starting to become a fan of. By doing this you will never stop moving unless turning around to shoot the enemy. In this you will continue to take enemy troops out, and moving around the map in a circular motion. This is great for high rounds, because you will get all the enemy lined up in a line and be able to lay into them with a light machine gun. This will give you a good chance to get very far in the game.

Either way with the run and gun, and this camping spot, you should have no problem making it to level 30+, and with practice, effort, and good teammate much further. If you have any questions please comment, and I will try to help you out.

Hahaha, trust me, I have been staying on top of Black ops 2, and while NO ONE has the accurate list of the weapons, and things from the new game. Although as they are released they will be getting released I will be posting guides on them as soon as I can.

They messed up a LOT of things on MW3 which is another reason I am looking forward to Black Ops 2 in Novermber. Hopefully it will be much better, but who knows at this point.

LMAO, that is true. But to be honest, "better than MW3" isn't that difficult. Hell, I've played FLASH GAMES better than it. XD I'm also waiting until after the release to see what kind of reception it gets. Personally, I think some of the DLC multiplayer maps fit certain weapons better than others (like Sanctuary suits snipers and the like waaay better than shotguns). They don't BALANCE weapon advantages on the maps like they did in CoD4.

Haha, well you bought them at the right time (when they were cheap), and hopefully you can get some multiplayer use out of them, or at least some more survival use out of them. But remember to start saving up for Black Ops, because that game WILL be better than MW3..

Honestly, I can't blame you. I just got them because they were half off and frankly, I was getting bored of what was already in MW3. (Plus, I bought them with money I made mowing lawns, so shows how much I really care about the game. LOL)

Wraith personally I would not pay for any collections, or Elite. Given that I purchased them with the $ I made from here I can't complain, BUT I am really not a fan of these maps, and honestly already gave up on MW3 and went back to Black ops getting ready for the new game to come out.

So, I just bought the DLC collections (during the 50% off charity sale :D) and gave each of the DLC 1 maps a try. TBH, I thought they were REALLY crummy survival maps for the most part.

Well my strategy...now that's funny. Your setup is in almost the same as what I did. The only difference is that my sentries were at the bottom of the stairs (facing the other door) while I was crouched near the top of the stairs. 5 C4 packs on the ground outside (where the enemies cluster) and shoot the few that enter before I blow the C4. (Works pretty much like the strategy I posted on your Seatown survival guide XD)
