Free online gaming is big business these days and the number of free online game sites is enormous. People play it at the office, at school, or at home when you have some time to kill. Most sites for free online gaming do not offer more than simple lists with the games that are available for playing. My personal favorite is kongregate.com, this gaming site has a unique way of offering games to the public. Users of this site can upload their games and others will play and rate them. The best rated games will earn a money prize for the developer. The site has a lot of high quality games and the best games get badges, these are challenges to be completed in the game. These badges earn you points and these points determine your level on the site. This system of badges and points just makes you push through a game to get that badge and makes it more fun to play games. It does not really get you anything although some badges will get you a chance to win a prize from time to time. The system really is addicting. Definitely one of the best game sites out there!

Another fun site which is different from all the others id differencegames.com, this site offers just as the name implies games in which you have to search differences between 2 pictures. Some are easy and others do not look that good, but there are some jewels amongst the all of them. Differences are never the same when replaying a game which makes it worthwhile to play games more then once. They even have difference games in different catagories like Graphic Novels and Comics, Kids, Mystery and Adventure and Difference extreme. If you like difference games (and this site will easily convert those who do not) this site is definitely worth a visit!

If you are looking for some games with more depth that offer many hours of gameplay Aeriagames.com is a great site to go to. They offer free downloadable games and browser games. Most of their games are MMO's but some are one-player games. These games are RPG's or Real Time Strategy and have a lot of depth to keep you going.
