The Basic Talent Set-Up!

Mist's of Pandaria has hit all around the world! People are enjoying more PvP, more Raiding, and more Farming. This release has offered a very unusual balance to all classes, for instance, it is easier for a Holy Paladin to kill an Assassination Rogue with no help from an outside source. Warrior talent's are greatly being played with at the moment, and I want to share a basic set-up of what I am playing on now, something that hasn't failed me yet!

Arms Talents:

  • Double Time - Offer's 2 Charges before the cool down begin's. Great for dueling, Arena, or Even PvE, a lot of Rage gain.
  • Second Wind - Optimal choice in survival, restores 2% health, and effective when under a lot of pressure. (a sure win talent.)
  • Piercing Howl - Great for Long-Ranged fighting, slow your enemy within 15 yard's, great against caster's even melee at time.
  • Shockwave - Frontal Cone AoE, 4 second stun, 40 second cool down, when you strike 3 or more targets, it reduces the cooldown by 20 seconds. This is debatable, because Dragon Roar does about 30k damage out right, and is on a 1 minute cool down, knock's back for 3 seconds, I like Shockwave for the lower cool down and decent damage.
  • Mass Spell Reflection - This is the most optimal talent, this is the best to have for PvP.

Fury Talents:

  • Double Time - Offer's 2 Charges before the cool down begin's. Great for dueling, Arena, or Even PvE, a lot of Rage gain.
  • Second Wind - Optimal choice in survival, restores 2% health, and effective when under a lot of pressure. (a sure win talent.)
  • Piercing Howl - Great for Long-Ranged fighting, slow your enemy within 15 yard's, great against caster's even melee at time.
  • Dragon's Roar - With the great damage of Fury Dragon's Roar I find to be the most optimal to take.
  • Mass Spell Reflection - This is the most optimal talent, this is the best to have for PvP.

Basic Play Style

Thing's have changed since the release of the expansion, such as rotation, and play-style, here is a basic guide on priority and rotation.

Rage has been changed to where your basic abilities, such as, Mortal Strike, Bloodthrist, and Devistate, offer rage regeneration, you no longer have to be attacked to gain rage, but instead you gain it by doing damage and your basic ability for your specialization.

There are no long Stance Requirement's, Intercept is no longer in the game, charge is usable in any stance.

Arm Play-Style:

  • Mortal Strike - Reduced Healing, Refreshes Bleed's.
  • Overpower - Is now nearly all the time up, and hit's for a truck load of damage.
  • Slam - Has no cast time and is spam-able.
  • Heroic Strike - Does massive amount of damage when used at 4-5 stacks of Taste for Blood.
  • Improved Hamstring is no longer in the game.
  • Hamstring - Use when needed.
  • Piercing Howl - Use when your enemy is out of range.

Fury Play-Style:

  • Bloodthirst - Great because it heals, and heals more with the glyph. Main Rage regen.
  • Wild Strike - What you should use when you have rage.
  • Raging Blow - Use on Proc, deals a fair amount of damage.
  • Bladestorm - Great to spec into because it's damage is 120% now, and with Fury and the weapon damage fury provides it's great to spec into, but try this yourself.
