Call of Duty: WW2's second multiplayer weekend BETA goes LIVE tomorrow at 10AM pacific time. That is 6PM UK time.

After Pre-Ordering Call of Duty: WW2 There is a Code Sent Out Immediately via Email that Offers a Free Access Code to the Multiplayer BETA

The BETA and the Game

The first weekend BETA for Call of Duty: WW2 has already come and passed as this started on 25th August (the Friday) and ended on the following Monday. This BETA weekend was exclusively available early for the PS4. But this was to be the first early BETA access weekend with a second weekend BETA available on the following Friday, 1st September for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The BETA offers exclusive access to the WW2 multiplayer, although a lot of the content shown has been restricted with many game modes, maps, weapons, etc. not being shown within the BETA.

The WW2 BETA early weekend access showcases some of the more popular game modes, including team death-match, domination and war. The War game mode in particular has had a lot of buzz surrounding it because of it being a unique game mode to the WW2 era, as throughout the entire Call of Duty title releases we have only ever seen this game mode once before in World at War (released in 2008).

Team death-match and domination have also been strongly recommended and reviewed by fans of the franchise as being worthy of playing. These are classic game modes to Call of Duty, and by using almost any of the divisions available for access there should be room for making substantial progress.

The maps that have been shown on the WW2 BETA have all been close quarters to medium range gun fights in the maps layouts. This is perhaps Sledgehammer Games way of forcing players into the battle earlier on in the games match time, something that has been hinted at being a positive enforcer for the games speed in combat time.

However, the War game mode is slightly different to all of the other game modes as it includes a series of objectives for the team that must be done in a sequence order to complete the match with a win for the allies/axis. Within the BETA so far we have seen just one map for the War game mode, and this map was a blast and a half to play so things are looking up for this side to the games multiplayer. Also, the maps released for the cycle of gameplay for the War game mode will be exclusive to that game mode because of the sizeable space required to add in all of the objectives for completion.

The War game mode for Call of Duty: WW2 has so far been the best received game mode for its multiplayer and should be the most interesting addition for the game once it has its official launch date. As, surely there should be some great new maps added to the rotation that could potentially make this the most popular game mode with some of the greatest maps in the game.

When Will I Receive My BETA Code?

If you have pre-ordered Call of Duty: WW2 then the code should have already been sent to your email address - the one that you used to pre-order the game with. From receiving the email from the respective retailer that the pre-ordered game is being sent from within the email there should be a promotional code. Or, the code will simply pop up in the email and addressed as being the BETA code. Either way, this is your unique BETA access code.

What are you Waiting for, It's Time to Redeem the BETA Code

The next step once acquiring the BETA code is to go to the following website, CallofDuty.com/BETA. From here you will have to follow the on-screen instructions - firstly click the console that you aim to use, then type in your PSN, Xbox, PC log-in information, and from here there should be a redemption screen that is asking for your BETA code. Once the success screen pops up you are ready to move onto the next step.

Can't Redeem Your Code...?

Which of the following best describes the current situation:

Screen has popped up in red writing that the code has already been redeemed. The solution - contact the retailer that your pre-order was made with and tell them that the BETA code that you received is not working in hopes that they are able to help in getting a new working code sent to you. Why not contact Activision - the manufacturer for Call of Duty: WW2 - Activision has a difficult help service in order to get a person to help with the problem. And, their twitter page is a useless place to seek out assistance.

What worked for me!

Whether this is your situation at this point or not. This should solve all of the worlds problems in one simple step. The BETA code is trapped in a scenario like there is another person out in the world sharing that same code and they have already redeemed it before you. That is essentially how I felt after pre-ordering Call of Duty: WW2 for the PS4 before last weekends multiplayer BETA access.

The problem - ordering from Amazon was the only issue that I could realistically find from receiving a code that had had supposedly already been redeemed after typing it in to Call of Duty's BETA weekend screen.

The solution - abandon Amazon for the love of humanity as you have not lost a single dime from the pre-order that has been made with the online retailer. The problem is essentially Amazon as I checked the help forums page for Call of Duty: WW2 and many were asking questions about Amazon's BETA codes not being accessible on the redemption page for the COD: WW2 BETA.

The process in getting access to the BETA at this stage is to click cancel pre-order on the Amazon page for the Call of Duty: WW2 pre-order pack. Now, go back to Google and type in Game (the retailer) and pre-order from this website one of the two COD: WW2 game packs and you will receive a workable BETA code sent to your email address.

BETA Code Successfully Redeemed. What to do Now?

The PSN, Xbox, PC download BETA code has been confirmed, now all you need to do is go over to your console/PC and from the code redeem page on the platform type in the code that has been provided to download the official BETA to the console. This will quite literally take 24 hours to download so you might want to do this sooner rather than later.
