Why People Love Minecraft:

Updated on September 8, 2015

Minecraft is popular for many reasons, on most platforms people use it for the main aim: Defeat The Boss. Looking at how some people use it brings a whole new adventure to the simple sandbox game. Well you see when i started i thought the same things as you do although now I understand. Minecraft is not only that single aim objective game, even without modding or playing online people can still make amazing things. People build maps which you can download and play with minigames, games within Minecraft which are fun to play at any times and many other things. Look at youtubers like StampyLongHead for example, he plays the simple sandbox game and made his sandbox into a sandcastle. His world is inhabited by pets, games, houses, friends and adventures. Stampy has about 335 videos of the same world named: Stampy`s Lovely World and hundreds of side series episodes. You have to wonder how he keeps the audience hooked. Stampy builds something new almost every episode to keep the audience watching and plays them too. He gives people ideas and entertainment, people just eat up all of the videos and love it. He turns the game into a fun-land of games.

This game which many love can also be changed into a whole new game with spells, computers, custom items and more by modding the game. Unlike some games Minecraft is almost always and allowed to be modded if you are on a platform where it is allowed. It says in terms and conditions that you are allowed to do anything with the game except resell it. Modding, for those of you who don`t know means modifying a game, so in basic terms you are just changing or editing it. With mods anything is possible, you can turn Minecraft into Call Of Duty or Harry Potter or anything your heart desires, you can combine mods and make Minecraft even look better or realistic with texture packs and shaders. Talking about the graphics here, most think how someone could like such a dumb game in which the graphics are like looking at a Lego cartoon. The game was designed to look like this, Minecraft wasnt even supposed to be a hit, just a small game to pass time. Anyway moving on, there are also many other ways to enjoy Minecraft more such as going on online servers and playing with others on almost modded worlds. Minecraft is like dreaming, anything you want can happen.

You see Minecraft is any game, any look, any time and anywhere you want. Today I hope i have showed you this.
