Zombie Shooting Games

Are You Ready For The Zombie Apocalypse?

Zombie shooting games have been popular for as long as I can remember. The biggest franchise in Zombie shooting is arguably the Resident Evil series. Almost anyone that plays any type of video game has heard of, played or at least knows of the games and movies.

Still there are a lot of other games that involve killing zombies that you may or may not have heard of and you can find them on many different gaming platforms.

This Hub is dedicated to Zombie killing games and all the zombie killing goodness that they have to offer. Here we will go over some of the best games available today ranging from some really awesome free zombie shooting games to some of the best games for systems like the Xbox 360 and others. So if your looking for a place to prepare for the zombie apocalypse, you have come to the right place.

Awesome Free Zombie Shooting Games

If there is one thing that is better then killing zombies it's doing it for free. There are some really awesome free zombie shooting games that you can play on PC, iPod or Android.

A lot of times downloading free games is a matter of trial and error and can get frustrating. You look for something new to play, download it, try it and find out it basically sucks. Then you have to delete, search again and go through the same process until you find a winner. Well, I'm about to make your life a little easier by giving you a couple of the best freebies available for download right here.

The first game is the one in the video above, Dead trigger. This game has all the elements of a high end console zombie shooter but, it's free for iPod and Android systems. Tons of different weapons, great maps, nice graphics and smooth gameplay make this a must have for any zombie killer. You can get Dead Trigger Free from the iTunes store. It's probably one of the best free games I have played.

Very different as far as gameplay goes is Plants VS. Zombies. While this game is a little more cartoonish it's still a ton of fun and best of all it's appropriate for any age. This means zombie killing fun for the whole family. The idea is pretty cool, the only thing standing between you and zombies are your plants. Each plant will have special abilities that will help kill the zombies. Depending on the zombie choosing the right plants can be the difference between survival or your brains becoming a zombie's next meal.

The full version of Plants VS. Zombies is not free but, you can get a free trial here. This game is extremely popular and has won a ton of awards including a game of the year award in 2009. You can buy it for almost any gaming platform as well but the best way to see if you like something is to try it for free first right.

These two games are a lot of fun to play and will keep you busy for hours. They are perfect if your just starting out with zombie shooters because you can play for free and if you have experience with these types of games they are a great addition to any zombie shooting game library.
