A Change On The Standard Scrabble Game

Updated on February 11, 2015

Scrabble Flash

This electronic version of Scrabble you can play yourself.

The year rating is 8 years old and up. I am not sure why someone has to be 8 years old to play the game. It seems like a first grader could figure it out.

Five titles are included in the game. If you have played the other version you know that you can play the game with a large number of tiles ... this is not it. You only get 5 and 75 minutes to make as many words out of your tiles, as possible. That is how you win.

You can play the game solo or with a group.

The game already has in it vocabulary words that will work in your system. However, you will have to pick a new word if your real word are unknown. You only get 75 seconds to win. Just, move on.

Losing

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.

The Regular Game

Compare to the real game:

Real Game:

Board Game.

Has many tiles that have alphabet letters and number on them.

Can use any word, as long as, it is in your language.

No amount of time to win.

Electronic Game:

Needs Batteries.

Five titles are needed to play.

A short amount of time to win.

Has it's own dictionary. (No two letter words.)

The Game

Batteries Are Included! They are lithium batteries. You will need 5 of them to replace the old ones when they don't work any more.

This game is better played in a solo mode.

Also, some made up words work. Just like when people play real Scrabble!

With any electronic games, you will need to check to make sure it works. Turn your game on and off.

Play the game a few times.

You may need to return it if it does not work.

This game does not cost that money, so if it does not work you will not be missing much from your wallet.

This game might work if you are waiting for your food at a dinner place.

My Story With Scrabble

My story is a sad one. I have never won. I don't win at all.

I only played with one friend. She knew all about Scrabble. I must have been some crazy person to play with her. I am sure she still plays the game with her family but I am not about to ask her.

To this day, I still don't play the game. Playing alone seems the only way that I can win the game. If I played, at all.

I am no longer friends with that girl. But, I will not let anyone else win. I don't play the game.

Lost Tiles

There are so many tiles all over the place. They can also get eaten by the family dog. There should be enough in the game but if you need more you can buy a new game or get more tiles.

This is only a demonstration of the game.

This game no longer costs $30 dollars, as the video suggests.
