Then there's the Air Hogs Havoc Heli, a radio controlled, air powered helicopter that is designed to be flown entirely indoors. Hot For This Year - Air Hogs Toys

Air Hogs are shaping up to be a favorite for this year. After all, who hasn't dreamed of flying through the air at some point in their lives? It's the feeling of fantastic flying fun the makes for a fabulous gift. Kids love them because they are so much fun. One of the reasons parents love them is that they don't require any assembly.

The radio controlled, feather-light and air-powered flying Air Hogs have models for beginners to more advanced users. New models of this award winning product line are released frequently. Some information on the more popular models follows.

The Air Hogs Havoc Heli is one of the smallest radio-controlled helicopters in the world, but it delivers some of the biggest fun. It's small size allows it to maneuver well. The Havoc Heli is perfect for beginners, ages eight and up, and is rated for indoor use.

Intermediate users (for those over ten) will enjoy the cutting-edge flying style of the Air Hogs Switchblade. It takes off vertically, flying like a helicopter. Then, with a press of the Morph button on the remote unit, it turns into a stunt flying plane! That's just one example of the kind of fun innovation the company is known for.

Storm Launcher is an all-terrain wonder. It operates on land, air and water! It is recommended for those ten years of age and older, and is for outdoor use only. According to the company, it reaches speeds of 205 miles per hour (when compared to its scale).

Dozens of unique Air Hogs have been made over the years, some of which have been retired. Whether retired or not, whichever vehicle you give or get for a gift, you will see why this thrilling series of toys is one of the hottest Christmas toys for 2009.

The Air Hogs Pocket Copter

The Air Hogs name has been synonymous with quality, precision flying instruments for many years. In fact, they have been an industry innovator and a leader in the remote control category for well over a decade. You don't get that kind of a solid reputation without knowing what works and how to produce it into quality products. Even though this helicopter is the smallest that this company has ever manufactured it is still as impressive as the rest of their line.

With its compact size you won't be limited to only flying it outside. You can safely take this one for a spin indoors, too. The remote is also smaller than the average model and isn't much bigger than the size of a hand. It is designed for ease of use so that children can enjoy the aircraft and not be hampered with a cumbersome unit.

The only problem is that once parents see how well this copter operates they will want to have a turn at it, too. Air Hogs are renowned for their flying ability. The twin rotary blades give the Air Hogs Pocket Copter a much smoother ride and an amazing display of control.

There is a bar attached to the rear tail that can be moved forward to increase the speed. This eliminates the need for extra weight on the nose.

When you fly something this small you are protected quite well from worry that it will run into household objects and damage something. The shell is completely plastic which means that not only are your valuables safe from damage during collision, but the aircraft itself is also thoroughly protected. And as an added bonus it is also extremely quiet. Worried that it might be too fragile to move around? The good people at Air Hogs have designed a convenient carrying case to make it simple.

This hard sided case holds the copter and the remote and keeps it all out of harm's way. The charging cable is built into the case so it is never far away for when you need it. It only takes about 20 minutes of charging and your child is flying again!

The Air Hogs Pocket Copter is a great toy, but it is also the perfect start for a hobby that will give anyone that uses it the perfect pastime that is addictive as well as entertaining. At the same time it will introduce them to the fascinating world for remote control aircraft!

My son got one of the helicopters for Christmas and he flew it all over the house chopping up my plants! I didn't even attempt to fly it and he did pretty well (maybe he chopped up my plants on purpose??) Nice idea for a lens - it's a fun toy!
