I doubt it. And in fact, I doubt the chestnut that we only use 10% of our brainpower. The brain is a very energetically costly innovation, using something like half of the food energy we take in.
That's far too costly to be underutilized that badly. If it were really possible to wring so much more performance out of what we have, it would also be possible to do *better* than us with *less* brain--and it would have happened in evolutionary competition already.
I hate to say it, though--it's such a fun idea!
