My favorite hobby is making people laugh. By studying the human condition we recognize the need for levity in people,s lives, ours and theirs. I try to have a healthy outlook on life because I,m living on borrowed time, another story! So as for why do, I enjoy making people laugh, why do we kiss our families when we greet them? Love must be demonstrated to be the most valuable commodity to man. But getting back to laughter, I worked in Health Care for 33 years. We see everything going on, the boss sweet on his secretary to patients who share comedy so funny, and best point yet, the jokes are squeaky clean! During my last 4 years working in Cardiology, our Angio patients would be mighty worked up in the mornings. I decided to apply smiles, dimples, and good ole fashioned screwy behavior. So I was called a walking, talking Sedative! I wore an I.D. tag that said, Harry Porter. One elderly lady said your Harry? I said, no Ma,am, the laser was most effective, the lady almost peed herself! Bent and warped, if these words were part of the essential food groups, imagine how happy we could be by dropping our ego,s and thinking of other people, strangers too, as more important than ourselves. But getting back to medicine, my 2 nephews, great-grandfather was the first Doctor in their small town. The doc would row a boat across the inlet to reach his patients. The Doctor got rarely cash, but food, clothing, and all the essentials were met by the lovely people of my former town. People said that the good Dr, patients were so healthy, that someone had to shoot someone, just to start a graveyard! That has to be great health care, kinda makes you want to go dig up Tommy Douglas. People had great health care under his Government!
