    This was just posted on my Facebook wall. I thought it might be fun. How many squares do you see?

    I can see 25 including the big one but some people have seen 36 - I'm not sure what I'm missing.   I hope it 's fun and apologies to all of you that may already of seen it.

    I see 36.  Remember to count the 'center' squares when you're counting.  smile

    I found 36 squares.  You have to look past the obvious ones to see the other squares.

    Quickly looking, I see 32 squares. I do not see 36 or 37.  Maybe I'm missing something.

    I see 40 as well. There are 8 itty bitty squares, 18 regular size squares, 9 double size squares, 4 triple size squares, and one large square.  8+18+9+4+1 = 40.
