I am referring to the sports card manufacturer.
The Topps company was founded in 1938 as a candy company. There first card product came out in 1948 and is called Magic Photos (this is an entertainment product that includes all sports and entertainers of the time). The first sports-only product produced by Topps was the 1951 Blue Back and Red Back baseball cards which are very difficult to find in decent condition. Topps still makes candy as well as sports and entertainment cards.
