I agree with the left/right exercise. I also tried riding my granddaughters scooter with my left foot instead of right. It was a struggle at first, but my pace picked up eventually :)
Reading and thinking counts as brain exercise:)
I'm all over the crossword puzzles. I also play brain games (on my Kindle!). It's a better way to pass the time than staring at television!
Oops! In the comments after my answer I meant 'why are letters mixed with numbers' not letters! Feeling very silly now. I think I need to exercise my brain a lot more (oh and proof read before posting) :)
Cool. I'm ambidextrous. I can write, draw and use tools with left hand as well as my right, but the artwork looks different. Its like it was created by a different artist. I have been trying to teach myself to embroider left-handed. Hard!
Excellent idea Larry!!
Good for you! It sounds like your brain could use a time out once in a while :)
Numbers is a good way to exercise the brain. Thanks peachpurple!
Good for you Wayne! I just heard yesterday that doing things (carefully) with your eyes closed always helps exercise the brain.
I could never wrap my brain around Suduko either. I understand.
Oh, I third this one. Numbers just aren't my friend and I always draw a blank when it comes to Suduko!
I've always hated Maths! Algebra, what is that all about? Why the hell are letters mixed with letters? I'm quite happy with words on their own!
