What do you feel that you need help with? I would say that the absolute best advice for starting up a poker game is ensuring that you are ready to start the game as soon as you get 1 or two players.
The biggest mistake a person can make it simply letting people sit on a list and hope that you will get enough to fill the game. I'm sure this is especially true for a place like Big Sky that probably gets more tourist players than regular players.
Also I would not get too into the whole promo thing that so many cardrooms do, myself I would rather invest that kind of money into a couple good house players, they're hard to find but definitely worth it and they generally come pretty cheap. The tighter the better.
Other than that I don't know what to tell you unless you can be more specific on what you have questions about.
