A trip to Boston for the newbie assassin is not just a shopping trip.

Assassin's Creed 3 A Trip to Boston

In Assassin's Creed 3, Achilles takes Connor on a trip to Boston. The trip was meant to get supplies to refurnish and repair the manor. But trouble always follows the assassin. This will guide Connor on how to tail the suspicious man, get rid of the posters, find Sam Adams and return to Achilles. Use the underground tunnels and then the harbormaster fast travel points to help Connor.

Assassin's Creed 3 Tail the Suspicious Man

After getting the supplies, Achilles and Connor are alerted to a gathering crowd in town. People are becoming unhappy with the colonial government of Boston. Haytham Kenwell has taken the opportunity to sow chaos and allow the templars to take control. Kenwell commands a mercenary sniper to take up position at a roof and fire into the crowd. Connor must tail the suspicious man and then get rid of him before he fires his firearms.

Connor's plan to stop the impending riot and chaos fails, for Charles Lee has fired off another shot into the crowd from the other roof. Now, Connor is blamed for taking the shot. Connor has become a wanted boy in Boston.

Assassin's Creed 3 Get Rid of the Posters and Reduce Notoriety

Connor tries to return to Achilles. However, on reaching the waypoint, he meets Sam Adams instead. Sam will become one of Connor's friends in Boston but he has to earn Connor's trust. To do this, Sam tries to get Connor out of Boston, after teaching him a few tricks of the city.

At this point, Connor's notoriety is too high. Sam Adams must help Connor reduce his notoriety rank. Sam advises Connor to take down the posters. Simply head towards the yellow circles on the map and take down two of the posters. On return to Sam Adams, Connor will be taught how to bribe the town crier to further reduce his notoriety.

Finally Sam leads Connor to an underground passage. Connor may have to take down some guards to do accomplish the above objectives. Head into the underground tunnels and follow the rats to get to the other side. This will help create a fast travel point.

On emerging from the underground passage, sneak into the printer's shop. This can be done by climbing onto the roof of the printer shop and then stepping in behind the guards. The printer will spread fake propaganda and reduce Connor's notoriety rank to incognito

Leave the printer's shop and assassinate the guard outside the door. More guards will appear. Defeat them and follow Sam to the harbormaster. Fast travel back to Achilles. This will conclude a trip to Boston mission and start the assassin's sea training.
