Looking for Great RC Helicopters?

If you're looking for a great gift for a kid, find a remote control helicopter for kids. There are quite a few RC helicopters on the market. You can find both inexpensive, entry-level machines and one that are much more expensive (often with camera or other accessories). In this article we'll focus on the former category of RC helicopters - entry-level ones, great for kids and really anyone who would like to start his adventure with remote control helicopters.

Inexpensive RC copters for kids are a great choice - since they don't cost much, you won't spend a small fortune on the first machine for your child. Besides that, if the kid will accidentally damage (or even destroy) the machine, you won't lose a whole lot of money.

Syma RC Helicopters

Syma remote control helicopters are extremely popular nowadays. That's caused by several reasons. Price is the first factor - they can be found on Amazon for under $40 (most models cost less than $30 actually). The second factor is the quality of these helis. Even though they are cheap, those palm-sized machines perform really well, look great and give a lot of fun, for both adults and kids. As you probably know, good quality and low price don't go together often and that makes those RC copters a great flying machines for kids.

About the Syma RC helicopters

Those palm-sized helicopters allow you to easily control their movement: up and down, forward and backward, plus you can turn the copter right and left. The control range of these helicopters depends on the model, most times it's between 20-30 feet (6-10 meters), so they are best for indoor flying. You can use them outdoors as well, but you always need to stay pretty close to the copter. If you're looking for a ton of fun for a great price, Syma RC helicopters are a great choice.

Below you can find a short video review of The Syma S107-G copter. After that I've added pictures of some of the best helicopters by Syma. If you're interested in any of those, just click the image, it'll take to Amazon.com, where you can read customer reviews and buy the flying machine if you'd like to. One thing you should know - few models of Syma RC helicopters aren't as great as most of them (according to customer reviews), so if you'll choose one of the other models, make sure to read few reviews and check out the average rating.

Wl Products V911 - Single Propeller RC Helicopter

Wl Products V911 is a more expensive RC copter and is manufactured for older (14+) kids and adults. It's still an entry-level RC helicopter to learn on, but it has more features and capabilities than mentioned Syma helicopters.

It's a 22 cm helicopter that can be used both indoors and outdoors, even in wind weather (wind grade 3-4, according to the info from them manufacturer). What's great about this RC copter is the controlling distance up to 260 feet (80 meters). For every 30 minutes of USB charging you get about 5-6 minutes of flying. The helicopter is fast and maneuverable, but it's also stable during the flight. If you're looking for a remote control helicopter for an older kid (or an adult) and you'd like the flying machine to be a little more powerful than Syma mini RC copters, this is a great choice!
