Kid’s birthday parties used to be straightforward just a few balloons and party poppers, a cake and games, but times have changed, now kids have past that kind of celebrations by around age 3. Once they've been out, attending a few parties they knew what they want for their birthday.

Birthday party is likely to be one of the highlights of your child in that year, to make sure it goes off with a bang, here are some ideas about organizing and holding the birthday bash.

Luckily when it comes to kid’s parties money isn’t everything. Even in this high-tech age the best parties are those that give kids the chance to play, laugh engage and use their imagination. For parents of course the best parties are those that need as little possible done on the day.

When children reach the age of 6, they surely have been to quite a few parties and are likely to know what they like. When planning a birthday party, always involve the birthday child, it is best to suggest a few ideas you’re comfortable with and letting the birthday child choose one. Think about other parties you have been to – what worked and what did not and what suits your own circumstances and budget.

When your child reach the age between 6 - 8, it is a good age for away-from home parties e.g. at a recreation centre or a sports venue such as indoor rock climbing or ten pin bowls.
