Disney Pixar's Brave is a fantastic film. What I love about all films that are aimed at little kids, is that they have a host of toys that are designed to spark the imagination.
Playsets are a fantastic way to improve children's literacy skills. As well as developing a child's imagination, and improving their vocabulary. Knowing this, who wouldn't want their child to play with a cool little playset.
The best thing about playsets designed around a famous animation are that they are invariably cheap and very easy to get hold of. If a child knows the story of the films, then it can really improve their basic literacy skills.

Playsets, or Collectors Items?
Some people collect playsets, especially if they are from a well known TV show or film. So undoubtedly, the Disney playsets are VERY popular.
I think the Brave ones are fab. It's up there with one of my favourite Pixar films. I think there are loads of positive messages for kids, expecially girls. Brave's Princess Merida isn't your conventional Disney Princess...she's bold, clever and brave - how every little kid should grow up to be :)
