Cards Against Humanity Expansion Packs

Cards Against Humanity Expansion Packs have been selling at a brisk pace across Amazon and e-bay. and it's clear that this card game is only beginning to pick up momentum. Apparently it's here to stay. If this is the first you are hearing of Cards Against Humanity you may want to check - The Cards Against Humanity Mother Lens - to get the low down on what all the fuss is about.

"CARDS AGAINST HUMANITY -

NOW FEATURING EXPANSION PACK NO. 4"

Cards Against Humanity bills itself as being - "as despicable and awkward as you and your friends." the game was developed by a group of school aged friends and has become the hottest new game of 2012. This game vilifies everything and brings out the worst in people... In a good way.

Amazon is the official sales site for Cards Against Humanity and the expansion packs. eBay (not the official site) is a back up resource where you can usually find the cards sets when the guys at CAH run out of product. Be prepared to pay a little more if you buy from e-bay. If you care to find out why Click- Cards against Humanity Arbitrage.

To date cards against humanity has officially released the following standard editions:

-The original starter kit of 550 cards.

-The first expansion of 100 cards.

-The second expansion set 100 cards.

-The 2012 Holiday Expansion Pack of 30 cards.

-The third expansion pack

-The fourth expansion pack

-"2013" 12 Days of Holiday Bull***t

The starter set and each of the expansions also come with some blanks (not the Holiday set) so you can make up your own cards too.

"Warning"- If you do not understand, or just can't stomach the inglorious dark side of politically incorrect and significantly debasing humor then - "This is not the game for you".

Cards Against Humanity 2012 Holiday Pack

At the end of November The Cards Against Humanity 2012 Holiday Pack was available to order, but only for a short time and only through the CAH website. There was a special area just below standard order area and just above the free pdf. download links. Had you clicked the "Pay What You Want" link box it would have taken you to an order page featuring a video with "David".

No last names in the Cards Against Humanity video featuring "David" for obvious reasons. There are anti-CAH terrorist organizations in place that would love to do the bastards at CAH bodily harm. Of course that's of no concern to me.

I'm "uber" excited - (segway) - Did you know that you can get the original download version of CAH in German and several other languages by visiting the CAH site.

In the spirit of the Holiday "You know which one"- You could have gone to CAH and ordered the Holiday Pack online (I got mine).and paid nothing for it if you were cheap enough to go that route. I paid $5.00 (the recommended cost). If you were to have actually paid for yours, you would have needed a credit card (preferably not stolen). The cards came in a special red foil pouch, just like baseball cards. It's now February 2013 as I write this revision and I still have not opened mine. P.S. they are currently selling on eBay for as much as $100.00... I should have gotten extras!

Cards Against Humanity is an offensive game- suited for people who have a harsh sense of humor. "NO FUZZY BUNNY TYPES PLEASE" - Everything on this lens is mostly true, but it's all in fun and in the tone of Cards Against Humanity. Yes there really is a holiday card set available, but they are not much good without the original Cards Against Humanity starter set.

The Stats Are In For The "2012" Holiday Pack Experiment

So Cards Against Humanity has shipped its final packet of 2012 Holiday Packs and tallied the cost versus the revenues. No spoiler alert, I'm not going to divulge any of the numbers here (at least for a while). The peeps at Cards Against Humanity put a lot of effort into this experiment, and quite frankly took a great risk.

What experiment? If you didn't purchase the set you may not be aware that it was a pay what you want model. CAH stated their actual cost per unit shipped, what they thought the value of each should be and then allowed purchasers to pay what they wanted; nothing or lots.

I guess I should be shocked at the number of people that didn't pay a dime, but then again my neighbors always looking for something for nothing too. By the way I paid the suggested retail price for my set. I might have an unsettling sense of humor, but I'm not as cheap as some of these free-loaden'-willie's.

If you want to see the whole story and all of the stats, only in a way CAH can present it; Check out this page at Cards against Humanity 2012 Holiday Pack Experiment.

The IT monkeys at Cards Against Humanity had set up the order process in a way that allowed you to order only one set at a time and then you'd get kicked along. I suppose you could have done multiple submissions if you wanted ,ore than one copy, but I did not try. "Damn It Jim, I'm a writer not an arbitrager". What's a CAH Arbitrager

I've always believed you can judge a persons intelligence by their sense of humor. I think this game is outrageously funny, but I haven't a clue what that says about "me"... carry on!
