Classic Casio Watches are Cool at All Times
Who else wants the best hipster Casio Classic Watches?
Casio classic watches retail for as little as $12 and hipsters are going nuts over them. Just take a look at tumblr. They are water resistant and their battery often lasts 6 years. The most popular design the F-91W is a down to earth plastic digital black square that tells the time. One of the coolest things about it, is that it isn't designed to be cool. Casio officially stated they purposely don't market it as cool or trendy. They say:"It's just a basic watch that is reliable and good value."
F91W-1 - classic blue frame
The CASIO F91W-1watch was released in 1991 and is a huge seller to this day. Not in the least part thanks to the hipster crowd. Stephen Bayley one of the founders of the Design Museum in London called it a "modest masterpiece" according to the guardian.
In the past few years the watch has picked up a lot of steam among the hipsters. There is an increase in demand for rare editions, with frames that are green or gold instead of the usual blue. This might have something to do with this crowd just being old enough to remember the casio's from the schoolyard days when it was first released. For many it was their first watch.

Casio Men's A158W-1 Classic
Another classic model. This one is a bit more expensive then the black plastic Casio but made to last. It's very stylish and because of the silver color it goes well with any outfits. Originally designed for men but girls can wear it just as well.
