If you're buying a scooter for a toddler or younger child, you might want to start with a three wheeler until they get the hang of things.

Look at how slick this Spider-Man scooter is. This works well with kids 5 and up or with kids who are ready to go with only two wheels. I know my son used his over and over again.

Initially, my kids and I had no interest in seeing The Amazing Spider-Man as it's a reboot of the original movie series which we are fans of. However, after seeing the following trailer we decided to give it a try and loved it. If you haven't seen it, check out this trailer. It would pair up nicely with a Spider-Man scooter.

Here are a few safety tips for kids who ride scooters. First, make sure the scooter is the right size for the child. Secondly, toddlers and preschool kids are probably better off starting with a three wheel scooter due to proper balancing.

Be sure kids are wearing shoes. With kick scooters, they need one foot on the ground to do the kicking, so you want to be sure their feet are well protected.

Safety gear is a must. They should have helmets and pads to help keep them safe in case they fall. If you need a helmet, click the arrow below.
