Thank you, I've recently been scaeihrng for information about this subject for a long time and yours is the best I have came upon till now. But, what in regards to the bottom line? Are you positive concerning the source?|What i don't realize is actually how you are now not really a lot more smartly-favored than you may be right now. You are so intelligent.

We used to cut our paper dolls out of the Sears catalog. Once in awhile we would get to cut out Betsy McCall from our grandmother's magazine.

Fascinating. Why aren't there many paper dolls today? It still seems like a nice idea.

We loved Paper Dolls as children, designing their clothes etc... it's a beautiful activity for little girls... I never really gave much thought to introducing my girls to paper dolls as they were growing up, but have bookmarked, liked and +1d this to share with other friends and family.

My Mom always loved paper dolls, and then she'd get them for my two sisters and me. Fun!

@bossypants: Wow, more Lawrence Welk fans. It is a little corny to watch nowadays especially after seeing the talent on some of the dancing shows now. I watched one the other day where there were a bunch of old ladies pushing each other to get a chance to dance with Lawrence. My G-Ma used to watch it all the time and dance around the house. It is very nostalgic for me also!

My sister used to have some of these. I remember that she covered them up so I wouldn't see them before she dressed them. Not that I was curious or anything...ha! Blessed!

I still have a few sheets of paper dolls that I've saved. I've also tucked a few into old books, so someone will find them later.

@bossypants: Oh yes, my dad was a big fan of and a one, and a two Lawrence Welk. I have 3 sisters so we stood in front of the tv and sang. I was, you guessed it, Peggy!

Man, did I have a tough time finding paper dolls for my friend's girls, some years back (before the ease of internet searching). I loved playing with paper dolls and have fond memories of my Lennon Sisters (remember Lawrence Welk?) paper doll set. Fun lens with lots of memories!

I think paper dolls are so great. I bought a whole bunch of them for my daughter when she was young. I believe I had more fun with them than she did though!

Some of these are pretty good. I remember as a kid having a 3d paper theater model that I assembled - It came as a book of card with cut out and fold points etc drawn on.
