Updated on August 24, 2012

Darksiders 2 Find and Activate the Levers in the Drenchfort

In Darksiders 2, the hero needs to find and activate various levers in the drenchfort. The first lever is easily found. This will allow one part of the water channels to be filled up. The hero needs to find a way into the other half of the Drenchfort and then find and activate the levers there to fill the second part of the water channels. This will guide the hero on how to open the locked door in the drenchfort, how to activate the lift platform and find and activate the levers in the Drenchfort.

Get into the Other Half of the Drenchfort through the Underwater Tunnel

Back at the main hall of the drenchfort, the hero can use Dust the Raven to find the entrance to the underwater tunnel. Dive into the water channels and dive into the underwater tunnel. The underwater tunnel will lead to a chamber which will allow the hero to bypass the locked door and arrive at the other half of the Drenchfort. After emerging from the water, look up and see some structures on the wall. Climb onto these structures. Going left leads to a chest; going right leads further into the Drenchfort.

As the hero journeys on into the next chamber, he will be ambushed by more monsters in the Drenchfort. At this stage, the hero may have leveled up to be able to get the wrath move Harvest. Use this if the hero becomes surrounded by monsters. Defeat the monsters and move on.

Now use the map of the Drenchfort to find the skeleton key. The skeleton key lies in a chest somewhere in the lower reaches of this part of the Drenchfort. Open the locked skeletal door with the ornate skeleton key.

Darksiders 2 Activate the Lift Platform to get to the Door

The hero will enter a large chamber where there is another ........ ball puzzle! This time, the hero uses the shadow bomb to destroy some crystalline shards on the left and then go down the slope to retrieve the ball. Use an extra push to send the ball up the ramp, and then hurl the ball into the crater. This causes the lift platform to come down and the gate blocking the door to be lowered. However, the hero cannot reach the door as the lift platform is lowered. The key here is to stand on the lift platform and dislodge the ball from the crater.

Darksiders 2 Find and Activate the Levers

The door will lead the hero to a lever. However, this lever is stuck. The hero needs to go to the water channels and spot some crystalline Corruption growth on the wall. Use Redemption to cause the shadow bomb to explode. Now return to activate the lever and the water will be released into the water channels.

Here the hero needs to go with the flow again. However, this time, the water only takes the hero so far, before turning left. The hero needs to follow the water channels left and then access a small semi-underwater tunnel. Look around carefully; this could be easily missed.

After emerging from the water, the hero should be able to see some structures on a wall here. Climb up and across the wall. The hero will end up in a small tunnel. A lever is located here. Activate this and the final wall in the water channels will be lifted.

It's time for the hero to return to the drenchfort main hall and enter the center part of the drenchfort to take on the main boss.
