Dragon Age 2 Legacy Breaking the Third Seal

In Dragon Age 2 Legacy, the Corypheus Prison Base Level marks one of the hardest fights against the darkspawn and in breaking the third seal. Breaking the third seal is preceded by a tough fight against the Darkspawn Genlock Alpha, Darkspawn Emissary, Hurlock Alpha and their minions. Following this fight, it's time for Hawke and party to break the third seal and confront Corypheus.

Dragon Age 2 Legacy Tactics for Breaking the Third Seal

In Dragon Age 2 Legacy, breaking the third seal will involve defeating another guardian. This fight looks deceptively easy initially but then takes on a different dimension when the guardian splits into six (oh yes, SIX) guardians. To defeat this guardian, one can use the same tactics as before - alternate your mages with petrifying the guardian. Then send in your fighters to destroy the guardian. Eventually the guardian will divide into six guardians. Before the guardian do this, to know which guardian to tackle when its splits into six, "label" the original guardian with abilities and spells like Silence, so that one can attack the original guardian. Once the original guardian is done, the others will disappear. Otherwise it will be too tough to try to destroy the six guardians as the party will be overwhelmed.

Dragon Age 2 Legacy Rewards for Defeating the Third Guardian

Once the third guardian is defeated, the rewards are adding more attacks variety to Hawke's Key. This time, Hawke's Key can be imbued with critical damage chance, critical damage probability increase, attack speed reduction and stun chance. Choose one of these powers and then head off to the next stage of Corypheus' Prison, and a showdown with the crazy old warden and four new wardens.

Hawke and party strike up a dialogue with the crazy old warden commander and the four new wardens. The choice is either to use Corypheus as a weapon in the war against the Blight, or to eliminate Corypheus altogether. The choices will lead to different levels of the Corypheus prison, so choose wisely.
