Updated on September 22, 2011

Dragon Age 2 Legacy Prison Base Level Torch Puzzle

In Dragon Age 2 Legacy Prison Base Level, Hawke and party head down into the Corypheus Prison Base Level and continue their search for Corypheus and out of his prison. There are several quests including the dragon age 2 legacy prison base level torch puzzle and monsters (which include the genlock alpha ram prevention tactics) here which can be quite difficult to deal with and will be discussed here.

The dragon age 2 legacy torch puzzle starts with the party going into a room with a sarcophegus at the end of the room and six torches with three in each side by the side of the sarcophegus. To solve this puzzle, head for the second left torch and touch it. Next go for the second right torch and touch it. Next go for the third torch (near the entrance on the right) and touch it. Next go to the third left torch (near the entrance) and touch it. Next go to second torch on the left and touch it. Lastly, go to the third torch on the right and touch it.

Watch the video below for clarification.

The reward for the dragon age 2 legacy prison base level torch puzzle quest is the Glove for the Silent One - which brings lots of healing to Hawke.

Dragon Age 2 Legacy Prison Level Dumat Altar

The dragon age 2 legacy prison level dumat altar allows the player to obtain a chain if the player is able to get four items from various places of the Corypheus prison. This chain has the following attributes - + 1 constitution and + 8% threat level. It's good but not that good for something at this level. So either search meticulously for the four items and place them on the altar, or one can defile the altar. Selecting the latter option will unleash some fire demons and other accompanying monsters. Slew them all and obtain some much needed potions.

Dragon Age 2 Legacy Monster Tactics

In dragon age 2 legacy, one of the main battles is against the Genlock Alpha with a large shield and standing on a bridge. This is one tough battle, with the Genlock Alpha being able to ramp all the opponents down if the player strings the characters all along the bridge. The key is to initiate the battle with one character, and then run down the bridge to a clearing where one is given the ability to space out the characters and prevent oneself from being ramped down.

Once this annoying Genlock Alpha is defeated, it's time to face the third guardian, and then choose sides - free Corypheus or eliminate him.
