D&D Miniatures (Dungeons and Dragons) Minis

Updated on April 17, 2013

D&D Miniatures or Minis for Great Gameplay

When you like to play a lot of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) it's very convenient to have some kind of representation of the characters and monsters on the combat grid. It's also very cool to have a D&D miniature on the board that is a fierce image of what is on your character sheet.

Wizards of the Coast and other companies have brought out a lot of different figures over the years. On this page you will find some of the better minatures and the best spots to pick them up (usually Amazon or e-bay)

D&D Dungeon and Dragons Players Handbook Heroes Miniatures Divine Characters 3

Showing off your character on the combat grid is a lot easier with a miniature representing your character. They are already painted and assembled so you can start using it right away. In this box three divine characters are represented. They make a good gift to anyone playing a divine hero in the Dungeons & Dragons game who doesn't have a mini yet.

D and D Dungeons and Dragons Trading Miniatures Game Booster Pack Underdark

One box with 8 random Dungeons and Dragons monster minatures from the Underdark series. The entire series contains 60 figures. The Underdark is a very dangerous part of the D&D world and is featured within the standard Forgotten Realms setting and within the D&D World of Greyhawk.

Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures: Legendary Evils Beholder Hive Lord Booster Pack

In my time of playing Dungeons and Dragons I have faced the beholder more times then I wish to recall. This evil incarnation was always a bane to my characters because it was tough to defeat with pure brute force. This D&D mini is big and bad ass and will represent the monster it is meant to be very well.

Chessex Dice: Pound of Dice (Pound-O-Dice) Approximately 100 Die

It's always usefull to have enough dice while playing Dungeons and Dragons and this product by Chessex offers exactly that. A whole bunch of all the types of dice. Especially d20 are always in high demand and you will find a lot of them as well. There are about 100 dice in the bag and they run up to d30.

Colossal Red Dragon

In all my playing years I've only beat a handfull of these bad boys. Probably not even a handful. This Dungeons and Dragon miniature (miniature seems like a very strange word when describing a colossal Red Dragon) represents one of the most powerfull creatures within the game. And it looks that way. It is produced in a limited edition. It's the largest dragon available though there are some other very cool Dragon miniatures like the Blue Dragon and the Black Dragon.

Colossal Red Dragon
Colossal Red Dragon

A new line of massive monsters is joined by the most iconic Dungeons & Dragons(R) creature. This intimidating dragon is the second figure in the new Dungeons & Dragons Icons product line! Part of the D& D (R) Miniatures Game portfolio, these new, non-randomized figures portray the larger side of the Dungeons & Dragons creature collections. These limited edition monsters are proportionally sized per D& D roleplaying rules to be either Gargantuan (4" x4" base) or Colossal (6" x6" base). These premium figures will only be available to collect for a limited time after each release.

Gargantuan Black Dragon (Dungeons & Dragons Icons)

Very nice Dungeons & Dragons miniature. Cool piece to spice up your undead army or to face the party solo at the end of an epic adventure. Limited edition collector's DnD minature. It's a bit smaller than the other two dragons that are released so far but nonetheless a pretty brutal force to engage. Not something your average mid level character's are going to take down.

Gargantuan Black Dragon (Dungeons & Dragons Icons)

A new line of massive monsters debuts with this menacing black dragon.

A fearsome dragon heralds the arrival of the new Dungerons & Dragons Icons product line! Part of the D&D miniatures Game portfolio, these new, non-randomized figures portray the larger side of the Dungeons & Dragons creature collection. These premium figures will only be available to collect for a limited time after each release.

D&D Dungeons and Dragons Trading Miniatures Game Icons Gargantuan Blue Dragon

Wizards of the Coast is bringing us more juicy creatures in DnD miniature form like this Blue Gargantuan Dragon. A really tough end-boss enough to give the strongest of parties a run for their money. If you are a collector and want a fierce looking centerpiece D&D miniature for your armies this is a really good option. Only second after the Red Dragon.

Gargantuan Blue Dragon (Dungeons & Dragons Icons)
Gargantuan Blue Dragon (Dungeons & Dragons Icons)

The blue dragon is a vain and territorial juggernaut of claws, scales, and beating wings, with a powerful breath weapon of crackling lightning! The third release in the D&D Icons line, this Gargantuan Blue Dragon miniature comes complete with a full-color battle map, a scenario sheet, and an oversized, double-sided stat card.

Dungeons & Dragons: Orcus, Prince Of Undeath Gargantuan Figure

Awesome DnD mini representing Orcus, Prince of Undeath. If your players are venturing into the Abyss where he commands armies of undead you could have a lot of fun with this bad boy on the table. Really cool figure to have if you are a collector of Dungeons and Dragons miniatures. If you just want to scare the shit out of your players and face them with something truly dangerous this will work as well.

Oldschool 1983 Dungeons and Dragons Show - Epic for those of you who remember the old days...

Unpainted Heroe Figures

Some really awesome Dungeons and Dragons figures representing specific heroes but that can be used just as well to represent your character in all his or her fierceness.

Goldar the Barbarian

Goldar the Barbarian if you like hack and slash.

Paladin Initiate

The Paladin if you are the Captain America of DnD.

Almaran the Gold, Paladin 03292 by Reaper
Almaran the Gold, Paladin 03292 by Reaper

Almaran is about as cool as it gets. Surely much cooler then aforementioned Captain.

Lorus Hightower Wizard Miniature P-65 Heavy Metal by Reaper Minatures

The wizard if you like blowing things up with fire and ice.

Reaper Callie- Female Rogue With Bow 03255 by Reaper
Reaper Callie- Female Rogue With Bow 03255 by Reaper

Callie the Rogue. Hot and Sneaky. One moment she loves you, the next you have a dagger where you don't want it.

D&D Hero miniatures

Buy your miniatures to represent the heroes on eBay for a steal with some luck you can find a box with a lot of monsters thrown in as well.

Limited Edition Dragons D&D

For collector's of D&D minatures the newly released limited edition Dragons may be especially hard to resist. There are DnD Red, Blue and Black Dragon in different sizes and with different powers.

I also put up armies of undead and orc here and a lot of figures that could be cool to have when you want a guy to personalize your Player Character. Player Character minatures make excellent gifts if you know someone who plays that class.

I've always had a distant curiosity for DnD. Great lens.
