   What gaming console did you play in your early years?
   
   There are a lot of gaming consoles that shows nowadays. There's PSP, Xbox, Nintendo Wii, etc. But do you still remember those early years when you used to play Super Mario Bros. and Pacman?

   Well, let me date myself.  My first console was pong. Now before you start thinking it was some lame game, I'll have you know it was the kind with 4 settings. Regular pong, soccer, hockey, and co-op.

   I played Sonic and Road Rash on my uncle's Sega Genesis pretty exclusively. Oh wait- I also totally played Frogger on Atari when I visited my grandma's house.

   My first console was the SNES. I miss the days of such gems like Chrono Trigger, the Super Mario side-scroller series and 2D RPG games.
   
   And Pacman, wow do I remember Pacman. It was all the craze in arcades even 15 years ago. Now, there's almost no such thing as arcades.
   
   Of course I'm more of a Galaga fan myself, horrid controls notwithstanding. ;P

   played the super nintendo, sega genesis, and the sega cd.... ooooo and I had a gameboy, I loved playing video games back in the day. They seemed to last for ever especially super mario bros.

   I remember having my SNES. And playing Donkey Kong and Mario World. I played Pacman and Galaga, too! And oh, how can i forgot Excitebike.

   The NES is what I started out with, but we had Atari and a Coleco Vision. I remember playing Space Invaders when I was really young, and Super Mario Bros for the NES came out when I was in elementary school. Our family was sucked into Mario back in '85 and '86, I remember that!

    SNES.  I loved that.  My family had an NES before, and an N64 (and beyond) after, but the SNES days were my glory days of gaming.

    I grew up with my Mom's Atari, my NES- then for Christmas I got a Sega Genesis and my brother got a SNES.  My favorite games were Zelda, Sonic, Mario, and Metroid, in that order- I loved me some Art Alive, if anyone else remembers that...
    
    Then I got a 64 and a PSX- Another great Zelda, a mediocre Zelda, Tomb Raider- ooh, the birth of 3d games spawned my hatred for fixed camera angles and complete inability to get into survival horror like I once had.   
    
    The GameCube and PS2 came with me to college, the Dreamcast, and a bunch of other shit, stayed behind with my little brother.  I guess that signals the end of my childhood gaming, if it's divided among categories and would not move into adult...  and if you don't count handhelds...  or some consoles... 
    
    Like I forgot Space Channel 5...

    I definitely remember playing old nintendo games, duck hunt, mario 1 2 and 3, donkey kong, metroid, some racing game I don't even remember. I played kirby quite a bit too. But I spent a lot of time on games... Started with Nintendo before I could remember, spent a ton of time on each console since.
    
    Super mario world for snes sticks out in my memory too.

    Super Nintendo!! Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country!! Now that's where it's at! And the NES - Super Techmo Bowl and Super Mario Bros 1, 2, and 3. And Duck Hunt!! O this brings me back
