Disney Pop! Action Figure Toys

Updated on June 3, 2015

Funko Disney Pop toy figures

Choose from over 300 incredible Disney characters from Funko, toy makers famous for collectible Wacky Wobbler bobble heads and plush toys. The best animated Disney films inspired these toy figures -- from Minnie and Mickey Mouse, to the latest series of Disney figures from Aladdin, Mary Poppins and Jungle Book.

Monsters Inc. characters are perfect subjects for these toys, along with the other Disney / Pixar movies: The Incredibles, Toy Story and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Download the free List of Disney Pop! characters.© Funko & Disney/Pixar

Classic cartoons from Disney have their own Pop! Vinyl toys with detailed figures from Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast, 101 Dalmatians, Sleeping Beauty, and The Little Mermaid. Collectors and fans will also be interested in Funko Pop! exclusive toys created for the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) and the D23 Expo for the Official Disney Fan Club.

Where to buy Disney Pop! - Group sets of toy figures

For the first three months after the release date, these toys are available exclusively at the Disney Store and at Disney Theme Parks. After that, Funko will ship Disney toys to all the other retail stores. Find complete sets and individual Disney characters online.

Disney Pop! Series 1

Mickey Mouse, Tinkerbell, Woody, Stitch, Snow White and Pinocchio

The first wave of collectible characters come from all the years that Disney has been making Magic. Mickey Mouse started the show, and other classic animated movies joined the band with Beauty and the Beast, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty and 101 Dalmatians. The main characters in Pixar movies inspired Pop! figures from Lilo and Stitch, Toy Story and Monsters, Inc.

Funko Disney Pop! Sulley

Of all the toys in this series, Mike Wazowski, Sulley and little Boo from Monsters, Inc. have become scarce collectors items. If you find one sitting on a shelf in a store, grab it fast.

Sulley and Boo SDCC combo

Boo now has a big friend - the new 9 inch tall Sulley pop vinyl figure from the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con. Boo comes with metallic paint finish in a boxed set with Sulley.

Two giant 9" Mickey Mouse figures were also issued at SDCC and Funko Fundays with two different paint "colorways". Maleficent is the latest giant 9" figure from Funko Disney Pop!, also available in a limited-edition metallic finish.

Disney Pop figures Series 2 - Classic Disney characters

Funko Pop Disney Series 2

Series 1 started with Mickey Mouse and Series 2 finishes with #23 Minnie Mouse and #24 Steamboat Willie - the earliest version of the cuddly mouse. Two characters from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas make an appearance in the second series along with action figure toys from The Incredibles and Monsters, Inc. More classic Disney characters with Belle and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast.

Go gigantic with 9 inch tall Disney Pop! figures with Mickey Mouse, Giant Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story and the evil sorceress Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. Exclusive "chase" figures (color variants) were also produced for these giant characters, with a beautiful metallic finish. Limited-edition Comic-con exclusive toys are quickly becoming rare collectors items.

The Nightmare Before Christmas - Pop! Vinyl figures and plush dolls

The availability of these toys in stores is different in every country and region. You can often find Disney Pop vinyl at large book stores and novelty gift shops at the shopping mall. National discount stores, local neighborhood comic books shops and toy dealers may also have a few scarce figures.

Buy Series 1 and 2 characters online while supplies last. See 12 more characters in Disney Pop Series 3 and 4, available online and from Disney stores or theme parks.

SDCC Exclusive Pop! Vinyl figures - San Diego Comic Con

A favorite with fans at the San Diego Comic-con, there are more than two dozen exclusive Disney Pixar Pop! Vinyl figures with a special metallic or glow-in-the-dark paint finish, or molded to twice the normal size (or both).

Visit the Toy Collecting Glossary to see examples of rare action figure toys from Comic-Con and the Disney D23 convention.
