Really, my answer is both - and since I live in FL, it's never REALLY all that cold... but when it comes to really cold weather, what I love about it is cuddling up by a fire, not being out in waist-deep snow.

Virtual Games - They are a lot of fun

These miniature characters have homes, buildings, and furniture sets. They live in a town called Cloverleaf Corners, and their community includes families of cats, bears, frogs, and many other animals. The small figures are flocked with removable outfits, making dressing them a breeze. The furniture includes detailed accessories, such as tiny books, cosmetics, and more. They appeal to both boys and girls and offer extensive pretend play opportunities. You can build on the sets as the village grows. Great fun.

There are many educational interactive games for young children. My kids learned a lot from playing computer games but I think they should be monitored and should not play senseless, addictive games at this age. Learning Games are fine.

        • anonymous 5 years ago

depends on the game, the fighting games, my 9 yr old still doesn't play.

playing computer games make children be more alert.

        • anonymous 5 years ago

There are so many educational toys that are similar to computer games, and I think that the kids learn a lot from these. As well there are great online sites like Sesame Street, Disney channel, and Yahoo Kids to just name a few, I know that my grandchildren are probably a bit young at the moment but next year I wouldn't discourage them from this

        • Diane Cass 5 years ago from New York

We started our sons at age 4 with learning games. It develops good hand-eye coordination, and educational games really enhance learning.

My favorite board game is Cribbage because we played it in tournaments at family reunions. Playing it always brings back fond memories of my family members still here and since gone.

I have always found that playing games with you kids is so good for their self esteem and ability to get along with others, among other things.

never played video games... just don't think it would be as much fun as piling around a table with something to play with your hands and looking at each others faces, not staring at a screen.

My favorites are Rummikins, Scrabble, Monopoly, Draughts, Canasta etc. Old fashioned girl!

I like all of the games, online or board games! The board games make for great family time. I usually play online games by myself when I am bored :) I still want my online games though. Even if it sounds like I prefer the board games.

It's scrabble or chess for me in board games, otherwise its one games console or another, we have them all and play them like a pair of big kids lol. My father-in-law is 85 and has to play his daily few games of solitaire on the computer. :)

You are so right. My 75 yr old stepfather loves to play video games with my nephews. We are never too old or too young to enjoy good times together.
