Dragon Age: Origins, the first game of the franchise, was so successful that the developers released a sequel, Dragon Age II. Both games are set in a fantasy setting, with enormous content, engaging storyline and thrilling combat system. If you are looking for a game like Dragon Age with a terrific storyline, then you are undoubtedly going to love Mass Effect. Also developed by BioWare, Mass Effect is a trilogy of third person shooter action RPGs, with each game continuing the story of its predecessor.

Mass Effect has received numerous awards and praises for almost all aspects you can think of in a game, from its storyline and gameplay, to the voice acting and its well constructed galaxy. Players take the role of Commander Shepard who battles against Reapers, a race who seeks to invade the Milky Way and destroy all forms of life. Skyrim has a vast game world, which can be explored either on foot or on horse, allowing one to move faster while exploring cities and dungeons. One of the greatest features in this game is the quest system. Quests are given by NPCs, which can be altered through the Radiant Story system according to the player's actions and decisions. Players can also choose to postpone the main quest and instead focus on discovering the near limitless elements of the game's open world.

Neverwinter Nights is a timeless classic; a title which can be recognized by nearly all gamers regardless of genre. Released on June 18, 2002, it is a third person RPG which is named after the original Neverwinter Nights online game.

Neverwinter Nights is set in the medieval fantasy world of Forgotten Realms. Players can choose from five classes namely: Rogue, Wizard, Barbarian, Paladin, and Cleric. The game revolves around the player's efforts to recover the Waterdhavian creatures, which are required to make a cure for the Wailing Death, a plague that has devastated the city of Neverwinter. Throughout this quest, the player is going to battle with mysterious assassins, face unexpected betrayals, and ultimately save the world.

Players can also choose to play online and embark on an adventure with friends. The game allows you to create your own world, controlling the monsters and characters you encounter.

Icewind Dale II is the second installment of the Icewind Dale video game series released in 2002. Although the graphics are outdated, the gameplay and combat system still make it a highly enjoyable game.

Set in the fantasy world of Forgotten Realms in the Icewind Dale region, the player begins the game by forming a party of up to six characters. The player has control over the characters' gender, race, class and attributes. The player then leads his group in a long journey to ultimately defeat Isair and Madae, the leaders of the Legion of the Chimera.

Icewind Dale II has received critical acclaim for its storyline and enjoyable dialogue. The real-time combat system provides players with a thrilling gaming experience. It is an excellent game overall which can still compete with its contemporaries.
