Goodnight, Kitty

Updated on November 6, 2015

Hello Kitty's been a favorite of little girls since the late 70s, and today she's even a favorite of adults and even some guys! She graces everything from clothes to flash drives to cell phone cases to fast food toys, and doesn't show any sign of slowing down. Even after a recent discovery that she's a "friend" and not actually a cat doesn't stop most from thinking her of an adorable feline. Her name's been lent out to other brands, people make replicas of her in stuffed animals, pillows and keychains. Any toy store or department store you can think of carries Hello Kitty blankets and clothing. People have had Hello Kitty-themed parties or weddings, women have their nails done to look like her face. She even has her own "brand" of marshmallows!

She's been a big hit in Japan since her inception, and continues to spread worldwide today.

One particular product I'd like to talk about is:

When we think of night lights, we think of children afraid to sleep in the dark. But adults, teenagers-sometimes they need "night lights", too. Reading in bed, studying late at night, or just plain wanting to see their way through the hall when it's especially dark in the house. No one wants to trip over a pet or a roller skate or something left on the floor, after all. And what better way to light up a room or provide illumination to read by than a colorful Hello Kitty light?

This light will give your home a touch of cuteness and colorful illumination. This product is perfect for children who like a little light when they sleep, or older fans who like to read before they go to bed. Made of sturdy plastic, the bulb inside changes to 5 different soft, bright colors; the light can be placed anywhere from the floor to the desk. And it's not just a night light or a reading light, it can easily function as a simple lamp. Also makes the perfect holiday gift, the holidays come earlier every year and Hello Kitty is a big yuletide favorite!

Hello Kitty is just waiting to light up your home today!

Do you or would you consider owning this or other similar products?
