Top Hide and Seek Toys

Hide & Seek Safari is a game for big kids 5 to 12 years old. A battery powered plastic monkey is hidden and with an electronic wand the player looks for the monkey via "hot and cold" signals from the Magic Seeker Wand.

As the player is getting near the hidden animal lights flash on the wand. When you are close the wand alerts with beeping. Some parents use this toy with supervision for their toddlers who delight in the "magic" of the wand.

Two animals to choose from when purchasing. Extra wands can be purchased and the game can be played with one or more animals, as well. Hide and Seek Safari games may be a hit at your house as Birthday gifts and all Holiday celebrations.

The wand is fun for tracking down your hidden tiger. At 20-30 feet you will see one red light flash. As more lights begin to flash red you know you are getting closer and closer. When the wand is pointing and very close to the Tiger it will start beeping. You have it now!

The family can play with many monkeys and wands at one time and have a wild and exciting safari. 9v and 2 AA batteries come with the toy offered on Amazon. Free Super Saver Shipping.

Both animals are made of plastic. The tiger's head moves and the monkey has movable tail and arms, good for hanging up to get the game off the ground. Some reviewers suggest getting at least one additional wand because it is more fun to play with a little competition.

New Hide and Seek Safari Jr. for 2-5 yrs old

R and R Games Inc. released the Safari game in 2005. Since 2005 and the favorable response they have released a Hide and Seek Safari Junior for the little tots 3 to 5 years of age. This version has plush toys of a monkey, lion and elephant. These wild animals emit sounds instead of tracking by lights. It is so new that there are not many reviews by consumers. I will keep track of the responses and update this page.

For the Christmas Season 2011 new animals were added to Hide Seek Safari Jr.: a Hide and Seek Safari cow, dog, cat and panda bear.

All Jr. animals work with the Jr wands. R and R plans on more animals to come. Batteries included and can be played right out of the box. A wand is included with each plush animal.

The Junior is separate from the regular version. You can not interchange the Safari elements with the new Jr. animals or wands.

I've never thought to hide my 2 year old's toys and have him "seek" them. Good idea! Cool lens.
