how to play mighty beanz

Hi I am Dylan and Iam 7 years old and my Mum helped me make this lense. My favourite toy at the moment is mighty beanz. Mighty beanz are great fun to collect but even more fun to play with. Here I have listed my favourite things to do with mighty beanz, I hope you enjoy it. These games are different to the game ideas on the pack. Because i love mighty Beanz so much I came up with my own ideas so I could spend more time playing with them.

slam and smash racetrack

for this one you need to buy the race track, it lets you race all of your mighty beanz and have competitions. I make a winners pile and a lossers pile. Then I keep racing from the winners pile until I have an out right winner, the fastest mighty bean i own is pig! Before I got my race track I used to roll them down the top of the couch all in one go! If you have hotwheels tracks you can use these to make race tracks for mighty beanz as well.

hide and seek

you need two players for this game. Have one hide 10 beanz in a room while the other person stays out of the room. When they are hidden the other player needs to come in and find all 10. You can time it to see who is the fastest if you like. This is really great fun. Don't hide to many or you could forget them and lose some.

paper scissors beanz

just like paper scissors rock, except rock becomes bean. Each player has a pile of beanz and after each round the loser has to give the winner a bean from there pile, the player at the end with the most beanz wins, if one player loses all their beanz they are out. You can decide if you get to keep them or give them back, we always play with one persons collection and give them all back at the end so they don't get mixed up.

guess who

One player selects the might bean and the other player asks 20 yes or no questions to try to guess which mighty bean they have chosen.

Some good questions are

is it from the simpsons series?

Is it an occupation?

Is it an animal?

Is it a famous character?

scoop up

put all your beanz in a pile and get a cup with a handle. Try and scoop up as many as possible with out using your hands. You can play this on your own or with a friend. Who ever picks up the most wins. It is good on the couch, bed or floor whatever is more fun.

create a video

Create a video of playing with your mighty beanz and post it on You Tube. Check out the ones below, but please no more videos of opening a packet that is pretty boring, you could show off your whole collection, or just your favourites.

using a tennis racket see how many times you can bounce the mighty bean up in the air with out dropping it. i can only do 12 but i am still practising. It is betterto do this in a room with a lot of space as it keeps rolling under the couch for me. The better you get the higher you can hit he beanz, if you are really good try doing 2 or 3 at a time.

jacks n beanz

like the traditional game, throw up on bean catch it, then use 2, 3 and 4 until you have to many to catch. You can also flip it on the back of your hand and quickly turn your hand to catch it.

These instructions are from and are really helpful

How to Play the Basic Game of Jacks

1 Take your ball and jacks and sit on the ground. If there are two players, sit across from one another. If there are more than two players, sit in a circle.

2 Decide who goes first. You can just choose someone. Or, you can "flip" for who goes first. To flip, each person takes a turn tossing all the jacks up in the air. Then, quickly place your hands together, palms down and thumbs touching, and catch as many of the jacks as you can on the back of your hands. Whoever catches the most jacks goes first. Play then proceeds around the circle in a clockwise direction.

3 The first player begins by tossing the jacks on the ground in front of her and going for her onsies. To go for onsies, toss the ball in the air and, with the same hand, pick up one jack. After the ball bounces once, catch it, also with the same hand.

If the player fails to pick up a jack, uses her other hand to pick up the jack or catch the ball, or lets the ball bounce more than once, she loses her turn.

4 If the player succeeds in picking up a jack and catching the ball, she continues with onsies until she has picked up all ten jacks.

5 After onesies, the player goes for twosies, picking up two jacks instead of one until all ten jacks have been picked up.

6 The player keeps playing through onesies, twosies, threesies, etc. until she misses. Play then moves on to the next player.

7 When a player gets another turn, they start where they left off on their last turn. For example, if a player missed on threesies on their last turn, they start their next turn with threesies.

8 The first player to complete all rounds from onesies to tensies is the winner.

what is your favourite game?
