Kids Play Tents: I think that my kids are going to love this tent

Updated on April 23, 2014

I wanted a proper tent that could be used outside.

When my kids were building forts out of all my couch pillows and every single blanket in the house I decided that it was high time to buy them a tent. I wanted a proper tent that could be used outside. A large one that could fit many and where there would be room enough to sleep in. It should be able to withstand all kinds of weather, including rain. I started browsing the web and it was not as easy to find one as I had expected. Most tents were small and not at all what I had pictured. Until I found this Indian tent. It is available in two sizes and seems safe and sturdy. In the smaller 7' one there is plenty of room for 2-3 kids to play and two adults together with several children can comfortably sleep in it with plenty of space for everyone. In the larger 12' tent there is enough space for multiple kids to play and at night you can easily fit four adults together with a group of children at a slumber party. I think that my kids are going to love this tent, as most kids they like to to crawl in and hide in small spaces. In the pillow fort they build they lie looking through books or just whisper secrets to each other. Sometimes they try to drag the dog into the fort but he struggles desperately against their attempts, I think he has claustrophobia, that poor dog. But the tent might work as it is so spacious. It is pretty great for the kids, by the way, that they can stand upright in it. On the website the tent has recieved 5 star reviews by all of the satisfied costumers.

Swinging adds speed and adventure to playtime.

You can pretend to be flying or riding at full speed. The swing causes just the right amount of butterflies in the stomach to make playtime seem real. This horse swing has just about everything, it can swing high, jump and spin, playing an Indian riding on his horse is made easy in this swing. It is made of recycled car tires and is attached by long ropes made out of nylon.

With this outfit playtime in the Indian tent turns into a real adventure.

Kids love to dress up and it adds some extra weight to playtime. Their imagination is helped along by dressing up in well-made and authentic clothing. It is quite difficult to pretend being a princess without a princess outfit and it is just as difficult to pretend being an Indian without an Indian outfit. But with this outfit playtime in the Indian tent turns into a real adventure.

Some kids want to have some peace and quiet

Not everyone wants to play Indians, some kids want to have some peace and quiet and, for example, set up house inside a mushroom. It is a more quiet space where they can engage in more quiet activities such as calmer games and crafts. This mushroom is made out of extra strong polyester which is easy to wash. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. It only takes up a tiny amount of storage space.

Little Hiawata has been entertatining kids for generations.

You can have as many tents as you like - Maybe a whole town
