Kingdoms of Amalur Dannestar Tower

Updated on March 5, 2012

Kingdoms of Amalur Dannestar Tower

In Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, the Dannestar Tower is the lair of Ventrinio. The hero must venture into Ventrinio with Alyn Shir to rescue Ventrinio, who has turned the Dannerstar Tower into his nightmarish prison due to his failed experiments with the Well of Souls. This will guide the hero in defeatng the various mobs and monsters on the way to rescuing Ventrinio from the Dannerstar Tower.

Kingdoms of Amalur Defeating Sons of Laz Outside Dannestar Tower

In Kingdoms of Amalur, the hero and Alyn Shir must defeat the sons of Laz outside Dannestar Tower. The sons of Laz are quite easy mobs away from the Dannestar Tower. However, the hero should not attempt to defeat these sons of Laz here unless he is at least level 17 or above, as the sons of Laz will appear as red tagged enemies; they will be too difficult to defeat. Otherwise, at level 17 or above, the hero could use just Shadow Strike and chain combo a series of dagger attacks. This will allow the hero to strike the sons of Laz without any retaliation because they are just too slow. Once the sons of Laz are defeated, head inside the Dannestar Tower. Be prepared to take on many Faer Gorta before Alyn Shir and the hero separate and head into the main chamber to rescue Ventrinio.

Kingdoms of Amalur Rescuing Ventrinio from Dannestar Tower

In Kingdoms of Amalur, the hero enters the final chamber of Dannerstar Tower, and meets Ventrinio, not for the first time. Following revelations from Ventrinio, monsters pour in to attack the hero. For this fight, it would be very helpful to have the spell Summon Faer Gorta, as the enemies that pour into the chamber are plentiful and relentless. First the sons of Laz will start pouring in. One should not waste too much time and just use massive damaging weapons and moves to defeat them. Next, some Ancient Leanashe will start pouring in and join the fight. Hence it is a good idea to finish off the sons of Laz as soon as possible. Draw one ot two Ancient Leanashe away from the main hub of the battlefield with teleport blinking, and then corner them and use faeblade attacks to defeat them. When cornered, the Ancient Leanashe will find it hard to retaliate, and the repeated actions of the faeblade attacks will eliminate them very fast indeed. Repeat this technique for the other Leanashes and then the hero will be victorious and will be able to rescue Ventrinio from the Dannestar Tower.
