LittleBigPlanet 2

Updated on October 2, 2014

Great Puzzle Platformer Game

LittleBigPlanet 2 is developed by Media Molecule and published by Sony. The game was released on January 18, 2011 in North America, and a day later in Europe. LittleBigPlanet 2 is a Playstation 3 platform exclusive title. It is a sequel to, and is (partially) backwards-compatible with the original Little Big Planet.

New features in LBP2 include programmable Sackbot AI, more powerful level creator that allows you to make 2D scroller shooter, racing and role-playing games, a library of great music for soundtrack usage, and, of course, a fresh adventure for Sackboy and friends! There also are several new and fun gadgets which will definitely come in handy on your journey. You can have endless fun following Sackboy in an entertaining, whimsical adventure, or creating your own puzzles and mini-games and sharing them online with others (LBP.me is the official website for that).

LittleBigPlanet 2 is a solid game which builds on the success of the first LBP. Kids love it for the fun characters and enthralling adventure, while older gamers appreciate the more complex puzzles and level building tools. It's no wonder that both press and users alike gave it mostly positive reviews; LBP 2 currently boasts an impressive rating of 91 on Metacritic, with user score being a slightly lower 8.3.
