Lego Minecraft the Nether

Updated on October 16, 2013

I really had this happen to me.

I was in the office with a couple of my Grandsons and two younger boys came in with their Mom. It took about 15 seconds for all 4 boys to be talking Minecraft.

Minecraft is extremely popular right now!

I know and if you just landed here in a search for information on Lego or Minecraft, that this is a huge trend, so check out the videos below, because these are young people assisting each other to advance in the online game, and at the same time utilizing social media and video techniques to build their future careers.

I have two Grandsons who are Lego experts, and all four Grandsons are into Minecraft online. One adds code in Minecraft called Mods designing gaming for his siblings. They are so creative, and I'm very proud of them all.

If you aren't familiar with the Mods, they are additional software that can be downloaded probably short for modules, that increase speed, or change the way the game is played. Adding Mods accessorizes each individual Minecraft game, customizing it to the unique style the player wants to participate in the game.

There are Mobs also. There are hostile, passive and neutral Mobs. I'm thinking I could learn this extremely challenging game that not only young people, but also adults are very addicted to, or I can go back to Legos and build my own Nether with bricks.

I have found videos explaining Minecraft, I've discovered very active blogs with advice on building the Nether, and explanations of all Minecraft terminology. I'm thinking building the Nether by Lego will be a great winter passtime for any young person or adult who is into Minecraft. Picturing a lantern by the fire in a cabin with snow outside, dumping all the pieces on the table and challenging the family to come HELP!

LEGO had jumped into the Minecraft craze big time. There are now 3 large Minecraft structures from LEGO,

LEGO Minecraft, Micro World 21102

The original Lego Minecraft structure is available on Amazon. Hot item for Christmas.

LEGO Microworld The Village 21105

The Village is an addition to the 3 Lego sets available. With the Nether being the 3rd in the set.

This would make a great gift for that Minecrafter!
