The Best Lego Video Games
My son and I have been playing Lego Video Games ever since they came out a few years ago. I love the fact that the games are G rated and are easy to play. We started with the Lego Star Wars Video Game. We then played the Lego Batman Video Game followed this year by the Lego Indiana Jones Video Game. This year we hope to get into the Lego Rock Band Video Game, and this spring the Lego Harry Potter Video Game. As you can tell we are huge fans of the Lego Video Game series.

What is the Lego Video Game Series?
If you've never played any of the Lego Video Games, are you in for a treat. The Lego Video Games are typically based on a series of movies, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Batman are currently out. The Lego Harry Potter Video Game will be released in Februrary 2010 and is sure to be a hit. Additionally, there are video games that stand by themselves, Lego Rock Band, Lego Battles, and Lego Racers.
The Lego Video Games based on movies typically have three modes.
The 1st mode provides a scene from the movie that the player has to go through. The player must complete this mode to get to the other two modes. During the 1st mode, it is usually helpful if the player has seen the movie and understands the sequence of events that are happening.
The 2nd mode is typically an explorer mode, where the player can use multiple characters from the movie series to explore the scene. In this mode, the player is trying to find studs (Lego money), the red block (unlocks different player enhancements), and canisters (to build vehicles used in the games).
The 3rd mode is typically a speed mode, where you need to complete the scene in a certain amount of time.
A great role playing game that can be enjoyed by kids and adults.
